Some sites linking Thierry Small with a move to Rangers. He's a young LB that plays for Southampton. He's been on loan to St. Mirren since January and was part of the team that held Celtic to a draw at the weekend. 18 years old so might be one for the B team.

I read that he was bought by Southampton from Everton for 5 million aged 16 . If true that's incredible money for that age. They must of seen something very special in the boy.

Yeah, I was reading more about that. Apparently Small made his debut for Everton at 16 and was the jewel of their academy. Southampton paid £5m for him based on that but he’s been unable to break into their team. Now they’re saying a move would be best for all involved. I imagine if Rangers need to spend what would be) a few million on him he’d be a first-steam player.

Barisic’s contract expires next summer perhaps this is his replacement. In all honesty, we should be cashing in on Barisic now rather than letting his contract run down.

We were told at our shareholders AGM about 18months ago that a lasting tribute to the late, great walter smith would be getting decided and done IE. a statue outside the copland road stand and still nothing done, which i find totally shocking!

Could be cheaper to buy an electronic zapper for barisic to keep him awake during games . But I would just keep leaving brochures of the lovely Croatian coast around or Nice that's nice. maybe Kamara and him could be room mates.

Think Ancelotti gave him his debut at Everton but he only played the one game, looks like Barisic off for some money so bring this well thought of lad in, makes sense, knows scottish football and is young and hungry, note about Barisic, overall been a great player for us, bit brittle sometimes but fantastic delivery, goes with my best wishes.

The LB for the Rangers B team is Robbie Fraser. He's also captain I think and just signed a new contract. He doesn’t look anywhere near first-steam level despite being 20 years old.

Barisic will likely be sold this season, we already have a far better LB that can actually defend as well as attack, lad has a cracking pass on him too,
and pace to burn, very intelligent young LB.
once fully fit he will be brilliant player for us.
He was the best young defender in turkey when we bought him for a fair chunk
less than his value of 7mill euros.

Barisic had 9 assists in the league last season (same amount as Tavernier) . He was also ranked amongst the top 5 players in the SPFL for average match rating when you look on most data driven websites. Barisic is still performing for Rangers which is why Yilmaz has struggled to break into the team. If a bid came in I think Rangers would move him on, but if not I can see him staying and having a part to play next season.

I see Yfeko mentioned above, any time I've seen him play he's been at Central Defence. He looks like a player in the making, but in my opinion he's not ready for our first team. I think he needs to get a year out on loan to a team like Kilmarnock/ St Mirren/ Motherwell to get him up to speed.

Think yilmaz looks suited to playing as a wing back in a 3-5-2 likes to play one twos think his game will develope one we should definitely persist with.
