Not happy he has left half way threw a season but I wish him well
Ad soon as gerrard mentioned about wanting big money to compete in Europe the club decided they couldn't do this due our financial problems this was always likely to happen at some point.
This actually mite work in our favour get a manager in who wants be hear and performances mite just improve.
And hopefully we can sell some these players to aston villa am sure gerrard will at least want Kent and possibly others so we mite end up with bit money for new manager two use.

Worst thing for me will be how do we attract a decent manager with no transfer kitty to work with.

If Gerrard is to go then my main concern is who will we appoint in his place and how quickly can we get them in. I have seen some of the names that have been reported as favourites with the Bookmakers and if they are the best we can do then we really will have problems.

Don't forget SG was also favourite for the Newcastle job. IMO he will stay.

My da is a villa park season ticket holder and has been for years and years. He always tells my villas ambitions are. 1. Avoid relegation 2. top 10 finish would be good. 3. possibly a cup final. They don’t even expect to push for a European spot. He would be going down there to battle relegation this season. seems a strange one to leave during a season where your guaranteed CL next season and more silverware. He’s still a young man And there will be plenty other English clubs who will be looking for a new manager every season why risk your reputation going down to Villa and scrapping at the bottom of the league. Odd.

GF7 they are owned by 2 billionaires so they could end up competing top half.

Storm majority of the epl be owned by billonaires.

from a financial point of view 2 weeks isn't enough to bring in a manager and a full back room team it may cost us 37million if we don't win the league that will put celtic well in front for years to come again plus they have targets ready for january we have players coming to a end of there contracts it will be one big mess he leaves us in think he will go or he would of said i definitely stayng here no need to worry he hasnt.

Mate, they will 100% be battling relegation this year. They are at least 2 years away from even thinking about battling for European football. Top 7 or so miles in front of rest.

If he gets them to mid table this Season and challenging for Europe next Season he will be favourite to take over from Klopp when he eventually leaves Liverpool. Given the resources at his disposal its a fair risk compared to being with us! He has to win the league, he wasn't given any funds to spend in the summer. He needs to replace Arfield, Goldson, Davis and McGregor and all he gets is free transfers. Why wouldn't he go to Villa?

F##k him, move on WATP 🇬🇧.

Paul I never said they weren’t but Villa are a big club and should be top half depends what the owners want.

55 how do u know there is no transfer kitty.

14.) 10 Nov 2021
10 Nov 2021 18:56:57
There has been no transfer kitty in last 2 windows john i think that's what 55 is saying. No manager of any note will take us on if gerrard leaves and we don't provide funds to strengthen. i'd imagine we would have a list of managers already that is wilsons job after all. We are not in the same position as when gerrard took the job, we are champions now, not a time to bring another project manager in, it has to be someone that can take us forward and build on our success. Some of the names are laughable.

Whether he says he hasn't or not, gerrard has been well supported in transfer market since he got here. Far more money than the previous 2 managers got backed with.

Bear Ross Wilson will have players drawn up a new gaffer would look at so even with SG away the business of running our club doesn't stop but it's a massive blow to lose a guy who was essentially our leader.

Cool struts, we will generate a budget with two or three sales imo
Also doehki Souter r frees. My concern would be if gerrard leaves does he thaen go doehki Harry Souter now out our range veerman Cooper.

Gerrard also made the club money with euro progress something the other 2 couldn't. Be sad to see gerrard go if he does leave he has been great for us. But we go again, nobody is bigger than the club. It is not a great time to lose a manager and a full backroom team with a semi final, european decider and a congested fixture list up to the winter break. The board need to get this right if he leaves. Otherwise all this champions league money they have been talking about will be missed again.

OneWalter, I would like to think so and I would like to think that he will have a quality list of managerial targets as well. If he hasn't and we are looking at McInnes or Neill etc., then we can forget about attracting quality players.
Only time will tell.

You think any of these names are already done deals john? Would love the dutch boys they look real talents, ivanic also has a good pedigree, the other names don't excite me personally.

The struts hurts. Ivanic top top player.
I’d love Cooper at rangers not sure re Wallace.
I think doehki likely to sign.
For veerman to sign I think, Davis and kamara would need to go.

Doehki didn’t impress with his performance against Tottenham.
