Hearing the striker Beale was talking about is Josh maja of Bordeaux don't know if much truth maybe someone on here will know more than me but that's what I heard tonight at work.

He was linked with us last January. Sunderland fans seemed to think he was a certainty to join us. Was on loan to Fulham but didn't do too well by all accounts.

Think he’d be a brilliant signing. Strong, quick and has scored quite a few goals in Ligue 2. Contract expiring soon as well I believe so could get him for a decent price.

Maja was the young lad in the Sunderland documentary. Not really followed him after our previous link with him didn’t materialise. stats look decent albeit ligue 2 in France.

That would do but I would love Jovanovic just because I've seem him more when I was checking out that 18 year from his club only seen mata a couple of times, impressed with Jovanovic tho good height but good with the ball at his feet likes a headed goal or 2 and a good finisher.

He looks like the kind of player we should be looking for. Reasonably young, and good all round striker who could come deep and link up play but also had a good goal return this season. Well worth a good on a free.

Are we looking for a big tall powerful striker? I would say no with the way Beale plays. The days of flinging in cross after cross from all angles have gladly gone with Gio.

DD I’m also a Norwich fan and I’ve never liked our last 4 managers. Cantwell is a terrific talent and will suit our style and play perfectly. He in my opinion is a upgrade on what Aribo was like for us. The issues with cantwell at Norwich was similar to emi beundia where they are far too better than the players around them and they see a pass nobody else anticipates same could be said for billy gilmour on loan at Norwich.
