Anyone think bilic is worth ago? ' I think he could be a great manager for the gers, very savvy, great man manager, bad start to the season at west ham but before that had taken them to a new level, could be open to taking the job and restoring his reputation. i now live in Australia and have heard Ange Postecoglou being mentioned, he's the national manger but wants a job in Europe, going to leave the national job even though they have qualified for World Cup, mark Bosnic been saying he would jump at the gers job. Only passing on what is being talked about here. Ps home for Christmas so anyone with a spare ticket for old firm would make my day/ month/ year!

Cheers.

Sorry Mols not for me! Not having a go but what has he done worthy of note as a manager except do quite well with Croatia - I do like bilic but he’s nowhere near up to the task of managing the most successful club ever! He’s quite fiery (like Pedro) - buys unfit and bad tempered players (like Pedro) and can’t change tactics to win a game (like Pedro) - No from me! In all honesty if the board and players have confidence in him give murty it till end of season then go from there!

Can anybody tell me, or tell everyone what exactly has Billy Davis done that is so bad that he can't be considered for the job? Now if it's because in his PRIVATE life, he likes a bit of how's your father, well who doesn't and what's it got to do with anyone else as it's PRIVATE. So unless he has been involved with illegal stuff? Then surely it's about football, and I think he would be hard as nails, take no prisoners and turn us in to contenders.

I have been reading this site for a long time and have never posted anything, so apologies if I'm long winded but just wanted to say I'm very disappointed we sacked Pedro. I've been living down under for a while so obviously don't see as many games these days but thought we were on the right track. I expect to be shot down because i know we were embarrassed in Europe, to put it mildly! and not winning 3 games in a row In 7 months looks shocking on paper but realistically wasn't his team last year (and we all know how bad they were) . I thought Rangers were moving forward and to sack a manager in October is something I would not expect of a club with such great tradition, I read posts here everyday and maybe it's because I'm not in Scotland I maybe see it from a different perspective but I would have liked to see what would have happened if he was given a bit of time, I think Scottish football needs some new ideas but progress doesn't happen overnight so going forward I would look to another foreign manager and I hope whoever he is, he is given a minimum of one or two seasons (can't help thinking Sir Alex at man utd, because Its common knowledge they were about to give him his jotters) . Pedro got 10 league games ( this season ) and then got booted! WTF. I read a lot on here about certain players he signed not setting the heather on fire but over the decades a a lot of great players didn't hit the ground running. Anyways, opinions, everybody's got one! . Coming home for Christmas so a ticket for old firm game would be pretty special (gold dust I know)

Good luck to Pedro, shame it didn't work out. Quite liked the guy, sounds like he got a tough time in the goldfish bowl with various 'experts' talking too much.

We are the people.

Keep up the good work Ed.

Totally entitled to your own opinion but for me he wasn't sacked quick enough. He was blatantly lying to the fans about Kenny Miller being injured and now Danny Wilson says he has been fit for months yet Pedro claimed he was also injured.
Cant help think he had an issue with the Scottish guys in the dressing room. The guy spoke in riddles and you can try bamboozle us with chat of methodology but the fact is he never won three games in a row. Not good enough. We need stability not another experiment, that's why I'm backing mcinness for the job, he'll get us going in the right direction.

I like Bilic, always came across as really passionate and a proper football man, I thought he was destined for one of the top jobs in English football having taken west ham to a higher level, admittedly had a bad start to the season this year but I could see him doing a right good job for rangers. Think he might be the kind of guy who would be open to taking a bit of a cut in cash to get back in the game and restore his reputation with a platform to compete in Europe Rangers would offer him that, . Ps not going to run down McInnes but just feel bilic might have more potential and worth sounding out? Thoughts?
