Been told by a reliable source Joey Barton will 100% be signing tomorrow, supposibly came from Frank McParland, He got him
To go to burnley last season when nobody else would touch him both scousers aswell so i think it may be true.
The way i see it is Burnley have recieved a lot of cash for getting promotion and i don't think Barton 33 would be part of the plans as dyche will more than likely be trying to build a decent team for the epl. yes barton may be one of the manky mob but think he would do a job for rangers.

Barton was on talksport yesterday saying he would like to go into coaching sooner rather than later and would want to work under a thorough manager for a number of years first. Not saying this means he's got an eye on coming to rangers but he might see Warburton as the ideal man to learn from, any thoughts?

KM90, rumours are rumours my friend but your joey barton rumour isn't a rumour, its more like a totally made up idea (trying to be polite here mate) , there's not a chance in this universe that joey barton will be signing for rangers and you know this yourself, one of the worst unbelievable rumours I've ever witnessed on here so to save a bit of your redneck at least come back on here and say it was totally made up or bet me a large some of money also.

Couldn't agree more with guys above, he's disruptive, on a fortune, will b playing in pl next season and oh ye HE'S A BIG CELTIC FAN. All for everyone sharing stories they've heard but no idea y people just come on here and make up the biggest load of bs it's just mental. It is a strong rumour there is interest in Barton the poster hasn't made it up at all there been talk of it down south all week am not saying it's gona happen but give the guy a break he's only posting what a lot of people have heard.

Just on skysports twitter that Joey Barton has been at Auchenhowie today, that's what you all get for ridiculing the guy with the rumour. He hasn't signed but this guy obviously had received info of some sort.

I hope he does sign, as long as he's not on silly money I'm happy with it.
He was top class last season, was a bit of a tit in the past but seems to have matured and could do a good job for us in the short term.
