We beat the sheep 3-0 and there's still negativity I. e mangers no good, and players aren't good enough!
Being from Aberdeen and being named greig mickinnon Baxter . I've had my share of stick fae the sheep, me myself applaud the players and manager .
Judge the manager next year if he gets the funds that's needed .
for me man of the match was big Wes and of course superman kenny miller .

there is honestly no point at all comparing ourselves with Celtic based upon points difference. Celtic are outstanding this year, Rodgers has them playing the way they should be. Their financial power dwarves our own, We should be Second, but we can blame Warburton for that.

We shouldn't be 35 points behind them and it's clear a lot of the players aren't good enough. Sorry but if you genuinely think Rangers aren't measured against Celtic then your being very naive. Rightly or wrongly that's the way it is here and it willl only intensivfy the closer they get to 10 in a row. However if your happy with 4 second place finishes for the next 4 years that's up to you

Correct Bengy we Shouldn't be 35 points behind them. We should be a lot closer to them with the budget we have, again blame the breadman. However there isn't much point comparing ourselves with Celtic right now, we should be comparing ourselves with Aberdeen as they are the team we should be beating comfortably to 2nd.

No disrespect to Aberdeen but our target has to be to overcome Celtic! At the end of the day being in Celtic's shadow is not acceptable if you are a Rangers supporter and the thought of that lot winning 10 in a row fills me with dread! We quite simply need to get back to where we belong and that is at the top of the league!

It seems everyone underrated the spl! Joey Barton underestimated it
Rangers players have underestimated it
And the fans have underestimated it .
Most realistic fans would be happy with a top 3 finish and a euro spot while others seem to think we are rangers we should win everything! Reality check needed.
I myself will carry on supporting warburton as I believe when the team clicks we will achieve, top 3, euro spot!
Revenue is what is really needed, European football revenue and we need rid of that fat git ( Ashley ) so that we get cash from merchandise!

Totally agree Greig. Think we'll easily take second tho. The other teams are too inconsistent to mount a proper challenge. They'll crumble like always.

Can see us grabbing a cup win this year too once the lads play as a unit. Can see us destroying teams once a few of the attackers find the net and grow in confidence. Looking forward to Aberdeen game. My prediction is a 3-2 win in an exciting battle. Can't wait.

Hi this is my first post on here . Really baffled by some of these comments regarding our team/ manager, yesterday we was beaten by the better team and it won't be the last time this season . Aberdeen/ hearts are also better teams than us at the moment! This will change given time, some so called supporters need to back the club and players at this tough time. In relistic terms we should be aiming for a top six finish in our first season. Everyone's allowed there opinion but we should support our team and get off players backs. For me we've made a mistake going for experienced pros with large wages. Last season was great giving youngsters and young players who had lost there way a chance. Would of been good to see how these players who won the championship and beat Celtic in the cup would of coped in the Top tier! We've supported our team through tough times and I'm happy to be back where we belong and in a few seasons we will be above Celtic again just as ally said and got slated for it! Trust warburton and weir and our board to do the best they can with the limited resources we have . We are the people.

How can anyone defend the constant faith the manager has in certain players, how can the manager not pick up a decent centre half, why has he no alternative plan when things aren't going our way, why was a forward thinking player put on once the inept Kiernan came off? The game was lost and it was all about damage limitation yet he chose to chase a lost cause which resulted in a bigger humiliation. We are worse than last season and the manager hasn't got a clue what to do.

Biffo can I ask what your attitude towards mw was after the semi final win. The cold facts are not to many of our players would get into there team to be brutally honest I can't think of any. Windass will improve the team and if crooks can play cb he will improve the team as well. I said on here after the Kilmarnock game that the defence is atrocious I think Wallace is struggling and I actually think tavernier has improved defending wise. I fully support mw but to a certain aspect I understand what your saying also if he sticks to the same team and tactics all season even when there not working then he will come under severe pressure.

TBH, from what I've seen, quite a few people have stood by the manager and have given him credit for previous achievements and not given him or the team anywhere near the criticism you'd expect after the start the team's had.

We haven't just went for experienced players though. Windass, Rossiter and the little we've seen of Dodoo has made many fans extremely positive about the future. Crooks still to come in and Holt to come back, both are relatively young.

Think the criticism stems from the lack of concern from the manager at the state of the defence. Hill and Senderos being two signings for CD is quite shocking to be fair.

If he had as much as a fraction of the concern the fans have for that position, Warburton would have shelled out money for better players. Nelson, Lescott, Ball, Espionsa and Mariappa are just a few names we were linked with and couldn't get over the line for whatever reason.

Senderos and Hill aren't just second choices or alternatives, they are, seventh, eighth choice.

That's abysmal.

He could only shell out money for the quality of player that you refer to in that money was available and while I am with you 100% on how useless our existing centre backs are I would question whether Warburton or, kore likely, King is the one that should be criticised!

I have consistent said I felt that Warburton should only be judged once we got into the premiership. That didn't change with the semi final result.
