Stevieg2, just saw your post there to far down to reply. That's crazy mate, I've put on here before my dad was Catholic, a huge celtic fan my brother also in fact my whole family are celtic daft mate. I became a rangers man much like yourself, through my mums boyfriend, in all honesty it broke my dad's heart but he accepted it. So on match day he would put on his scarf I'd put mine give each other a cuddle and say hope you get pumped, head our different directions, come back and noise each other up about the score and that's how I could never be the hateful type. My dad and brother are gone now, so whenever celtic win anything I can get over it by thinking that one is for you guys.

I think the days of using the word ‘hate’ unless it’s Aberdeen, are fine mate.
We may hate Celtic football club as Wes re rangers football club but I don’t hate fans or even players, the odd one pops up like Sutton, brown or boruc because they wind up us fans and players and bring it on themselves, but I admire players like Larson and big Hartson, McGregor.
I just think we need to remember it’s a game a football and as u say we go home to friends and family at the end of it mate. Great post pal ??.

I've got good mates that are celtic fans. banter for 90 mins but regardless its a game. a game children play, a game people love with passion. regardless its still a game. the people that let a game rule how there mind think and whis good and bad let's say need to come into this century.

I don't hate any1 who supports them but i do have work colleagues who hate rangers and are desperate amytime rumours surface of financial issues arrise to be true as they want our club gone.

Agree ows that the hatred from Celtic fans is worse than from us. That’s my honest take on it. I’m not biased or bigoted that’s my honest view.

I had a step dad who wanted me to be a Celtic fan, but I was to far gone when I was a wee boy I was just so taken by Mcoist, Hatley, gazza, laudrup. Then latterly the hammer albertz.

Man I miss those days lol back then I wasn’t scared of a game at Killie. Celtic had good plAyers too di canio, big Pierre, cadete. Like you guys all said I admired them as footballers.

My son in law is a tim my grandson also i wind him up. He'll shout grandad Celtic aren't sh##& we know they are but that wee boy is my favourite person in the world and i'm just glad he loves football no matter how ? his team is. My mum was a Catholic but would watch gers games with me and my dad and support them with all her heart. More so when she hated Lennon. God rest her soul ?? its just a game we all love but a game none the less.

Yeah good post's guys, it's just shame that a hell of a lot on both sides, can't take it for what it is, a game of footy with one of the most passionate rivalries in world football.
