So since I'm a young fan and want success for my team I'm better shutting my mouth and leave it the older fans to dictate what's acceptable at our club as us young fans according to some want instant gratification lol (2 trophies out of 22) hardly instant gratification is It? Another thing is maybe we should just give up as that mob have more money and likely will for the next few years so we are best to just lay down and take it as whoever has more money wins the league so why are we even expecting our team to compete how dare we. Us young fans really need to start listening to our elders when they tell us 2 of 22 is acceptable. Are you people actually listening to yourselves? Have a bit of fight passion belief and admit to yourselves that we are glasgow rangers and 2 out of 22 will never ever nearly be good enough and we should always be striving for more and never settle for second best.

In my view, most 'young fans' will have lived through the trials and tribulations of 2012 just like us 'older fans'.
And will have supported the club through thick and thin back up the leagues.
No one is happy with the trophy haul.
But with hindsight did anyone fully expect us to win trophy after trophy until Gerrard arrived to revamp the first team?
Just because we are Rangers doesn't entitle us to win things.
Successful clubs win titles and cups when everything is correct on and off the park.
I was most disappointed when we won 55 as we could / should have had a treble. That would have breed the winning mentality into some of these of players who seemed to think it was job done with the title success.

Back in the day and I refer to the 1967 1972 and 1983 European triumphs for our scottish teams when money was not a deciding factor but desire and good management of players who just loved playing for their clubs. today is just greed on all counts with those so called players --.

Mph perfect example mate. I've said this before on here we should have won the treble that year. Folk are quick enough to say that mob have a lot more money than we do when we point out our success recently and it's true they have, but we can flip that on it's head and say we have much more Money than st Johnstone but it didn't stop them doing a double did it? Or stop us getting to a European final. Mph because we are rangers it doesn't entitle us to win trophies mate but surely we should have won more? You say you win titles when things are good on and of the park that's exactly what a lot of guys on here are saying that something isn't rite somewhere but when we point it out we get but you need to remember where we've been they have more money you want instant gratification etc etc. I believe we have been very patient as fans imo.

Boy blue I'm 42, when I was young I'm sure it was Aberdeen and Dundee United were descent. I was lucky enough to see 9 in a row tho. I've seen many of cup wins and 2 European finals from gers. then 2012 happend.55 was a dream especialy withthem going for 10 and Scottish cup win. there's also been 2 list cupfinalssince 2012.we have been battered about a bit especially at boardroom level since 2012. Maybe us old gaurdhave seen the highs and the lows and don't want to see the lows again. To get us on a even footing again takes time. I believe 1 ir2 yearswe have that. Winning trophy is good. gers being self sustainable is better and needed. yes there optimism wanting to win trophy from you but I would give up every trophy from now on if we overspend to get them and 2012 mark 2 comes back to haunt us. Let's be self sustainable first then hopefuly we can then push on.

Boy blue. The post I think indicated that us of an older generation know about lean times and accept them as part and parcel and that the young folk don’t. No matter what age, since 2012 think all have suffered. I can honestly say when I was young I hated being beaten by Celtic and I hated lean times. The problem for me is that business people talk about business models whilst most don’t care. Perhaps it’s the older ones that are a bit more objective but doesn’t mean we except 2nd. Sometimes blind passion is not a good thing.

but i'd rather see someone come ona vent frustration losing the final and saying we played pretty rubbish first half - manager bottled it with not playing his new signings etc - we played beter second half with the changes etc

I would say i agree with some of it only one I wouldn't agree with is Wilson - i personally don't think he's good enough just my opinion and he hasn't casted our net wide enough and possibly hasn't the knowledge or insight we would like him to have when it comes to purchasing players as most of them haven't been great
and that's my opinion on him.
Im hoping raskin and cantwell can push us forward and sad about lawrence been out rest of season it looks like as i think he would have made a bif differenc.

Europe league is in the past and whilst I agree injuries have contributed to the 9 point deficit the overall lack of quality is the main reason. We don't get goals from enough of our forwards and defensively we are weak to think anything else is delusional.

The stig I ain’t ever had any issues with you just sweep as he is that negative it’s unreal and disappears when things look to be going well. He was missing for months until the final defeat.

Storm I think my problem is
When we’re not competing and not winning I don’t see folk on here typing rapidly raging like I am ??

And everyone seems content with he who must not be names AKA (wilson) his new name from me now - but so far all his signings haven’t been the best over his time and we haven’t won nearly enough under his recruitment not competing nearly enough
It’s that bad we now have them over the road filling our pages having wind ups over it
luckily I have a sense of humour and see why there doing it I would be doing exactly the same so fair play to them
It’s up to us to change it and he who must not be named is my main culprit just now ?.
