If GVB is to go, the one thing the board need to do is appoint a replacement that unites the fans and that's not McInnes.

Personally, I think McInnes could be a very good short-mid term solution.

Would be the European side of things he may struggle with although if he got a squad with unity and having domestic success and fighting for the jersey plus the fact he will be working with a bigger budget and higher calibre players he may actually do ok both domestically and Europe?

Its going to be interesting whoever takes on the job at hand. The only thing we can ask for as fans is someone who has the fight, desire and passion to get the players rallied. I often feel that Gio is too timid and the team require a Walter Smith style roasting.
