Is Kent the player we thought he would be at this stage of his career?

Definitely not on current form! But although "some" will disagree he was a very good player for us last season and on his day like in Europe! Can rip teams apart! He's always lacked being able to deliver a cross! Mostly preferring to cut inside.

No. All about consistency for me.
And it's even more relevant now as Gio prefers his wingers to do most of the providing of service for the striker and is less reliant on the FB's.
Kent is failing to step up.
On his day a wonderful talent. Those days are very rare unfortunately at the moment.

Absolutely not biggest letdown of the season. As someone who works for a normal wage 50 odd hours a week I find it pathetic that he feels the need to jump in a car and drive a round trip of 10 hours at a time to see his girlfriend.

No chance, his decision making is woeful. He can't seem to go past defenders despite what appears to be great pace, and his shooting is lamentable. He carried the fear factor against most teams. But not very many double up on him these days as he runs into a dead end or goes backwards most times. Other than that definitely a great deal for liverpool.

Ryan kent has been poor this season which i state is down to his 6 week injury lay off and just totally off form this season so far! He hasn't got anywhere near his superb form last season but i still think he's a talented footballer🤔.

How poor has glen kamara been for weeks on end now and would you have ryan jack in our starting 11 in front of kamara🤔We can't just pick on kent, tav, borna etc! A lot of our players have been off form this season as opposed to last season so let's be fair here🤔
Also as i've stated before joe aribo never plays well against celtic but i still think he's a talented footballer🤔.

I don't think he's interested in the 'dirty' side of the game and offers very little support to our fullback.

He's much happier when he's given a free role coming in off the left.

We have had one really good season out of kent the rest have been not so great and this year he has been rank rotten and nothing to do with being out injured that’s just laughable.

Totally agree on this occasion sweep, I feel rangers should manage this better in some way, not sure how though

Kent is the same player he has always been, it’s just now teams are wise to him. They know his threat and will have at least two players all over him once he collects the ball. That should be a good thing for us. It should create space for others but we never seem to take advantage 😕.

Stormtrooper we've had 2 good seasons out of kent in my counting anyway ie. his first year on loan with us and last season remember🤔
What's laughable about his form being disrupted by a bad hamstring injury🤔 can that not happen mate🤔.

He’s one of the few players we have with genuine speed and skill. He’s one of a list of our players who have been inconsistent. Last year when he was injured we were screaming to have him back in the team. I’d struggle to name anyone apart from Aribo that’s shown Amy level of consistency this year.

Kent not been good, being asked to play different role under Gio and does not seem able to adapt, also does not cover back leaving FB exposed, other than last season Kent has not really been a success anywhere he has been. if not careful he will be 1 season wonder.

Kent is a good player but lacks a bit of confidence at the moment, I hope he gets the positive encouragement he needs. We have some really good players but unfortunately they are all having a collective bad patch, it could simply be just getting used to different requirements from Gio etc, but hopefully after that traumatic match on Wednesday they come alive and start to perform like we know they can .

I'm not sure what the club can do about the travelling as it will be in his own time, but this undoubtedly must be having an effect on his game.
