Agree he's quality when he is on it. With a really tough European group would like to see him retained for his experience and versatility (Gerrard alluded to a potential switch in formation and Borna gives the option of switching things up a little and maybe moving to a 3-5-2.dare I dream?! ) .

Equally if someone offered £12m I'd bite their hand off!

I think Barker, Itten and Katic. Possibly Borna with a loan coming in. Pointless keeping Itten if he can't even make a sub appearence. Barker not good enough and Katic to far out the starting lineup. Especially with big Fil and Balogen performing at the weekend. i'm just looking at who plays, makes bench, and Gerrards trusted players. If Itten goes on loan he could return in Jan for run in and be playing somewhere every week. Just my thoughts guys. Need to free some wages so my guess is a few will leave.

SGL exactly tht people just think we have good headerers of the ball which is why we score from set plays, which in fairness yes we have afew. However we would not be able to score from set plays and corners the odd direct-free as often, if borna and tav weren't putting in great balls. The scorer often just has to put their heads through the ball. Delivered into the most awkward areas for defenders on a pinpoint for our players to score. Tht got me thinking. SGL what is your knowledge on patterson regarding delivery from corners free kicks? Is he known to take on dead ball deliveries? Perhaps this is reason he ain't ahead of tav YET! Because tav certainly does provide a lot from set plays assist wise. But yes our business potential is to sell players on and rather thn say i would sell this one or tht one first. First look at players on low contract tht are not extending, we can't allow to leave for free if a fee can be got. Alongside players of a certain age.28,29,30 no matter how good if a deal is offered we have to move them on so i'd rather sell tav n barasic agewise as could be last big opportunity to get decent fee for them, price will just start too depreciate after tht. It gets my goat when players say cash in on kamara or hagi, morelos. These guys are still young with great futures with us who will get their move in the end but as we progress their careers will too n they will become more valuable saleable n sought after. Anyone who would cash in on hagi at this early in his career are deluded imho and don't know what we have in this kid, he has gotten stronger n will be developing other parts of his game too. Stats wise last season similar to kent who had way more minutes. i'd cash in on kent aswell don't think his head is here atm interms of wanting to sign new deal so we simply have to get as much as pos for him. Perhaps january would be good time to move him or others on. Get back up to form put themselves directly in shop window, open up a lead by jan let afew of our second choice players take their place with the youths on the bench. Its actually scary how good our second choice players is for positions when we have players missing we sometimes look stronger. Our striking depatment is only area i think we can do with 1 more quality striker, Perhaps Alegria can join the 1st Eleven nxt yr, or even jan. The depth is their for us. Defoe definitely will not be hear nxt yr, Mcgregor not sure he will be either, what about davis, think tht decision will be left down to himself. So thts a couple off wage bill on decent fees to start with. I have a good feeling for this season. We just need to get back to our old ways, as in last season, in Gerrard We Trust, we can do this lads keep the spirit up, God bless 55 and counting 💙.
