Rangers now very professional at keeping the media and indeed us supporters guessing,
when it comes to signings getting close! Of course this is the correct way to go about our business 👍 There's currently 3 midfielders who are getting linked since gerrard said in yesterday's presser that a midfield signing is close 🤔Those 3 midfielders are gustavo hamer, juninho bacuna and joey veerman 🤔
I'm sure the majority of us bears would most definitely want veerman first and foremost 🤔
However if it was between hamer and bacuna, which midfielder would we prefer rangers to sign, between these two? 🤔.

I watched bacuna years ago at Villa, I hate to sound negative but I really didn’t rate him. It’s worth pointing out though, at the time Villa weren’t very good and the EPL is a better standard than the SPL. I've never watched hamer if I’m honest but he seems to have a very good reputation. For those reasons and also for potential sell on fees I’d favour hamer. Regardless of which one we sign they’ll get my full support.

Asarho, hamer certainly isn't a bigger goal threat according to the stats between the 2. Seen a few people talk about these players saying they are decent and get around the pitch. We've got plenty players who are decent and can get around the pitch, we need someone with a bit of magic in their feet davis kamara lundstram Jack when fit and young Kelly all do a very good job in midfield but I wouldn't like to think our next midfielder is going to be similar to them.

Hamer is very much a defensive midfielder and not a goal threat. Bacuna gets forward to support the striker. Of the 2 I would like Bacuna but to be honest I'm a bit underwhelmed with both. I hope of the 3 that it's Veerman🤞.

The SPL puts up a very different challenge to the EPL or Dutch league so no guarantees that we would see the same player or performance stats.

Plenty of very good players have not made it in Scotland so our team have plenty to consider before choosing a player.

Veerman is on a completely different level from the other 2, but would cost a helluva lot more. If we sign Veerman he would come straight into the team, but the other 2, I don't see that happening.

Have not seen any of them but Veerman no chance due to cost I think what we really need is a Centre Half as way short in that area . Goldson is a bombscare and will not get dropped Balogun not good enough. Do not fancy any forward line running at them. If we are honest we look way short in all areas and do not look fit or up for the challenge so slow in attack and no creativity . May come good eventually but hopefully can get through Celtic game and build from there. Need a major shot in the arm to lift energy during games if we don't score in first 15 - 20 mins its a struggle all game.
