I’m not a Beale fan by any manner of means but I will say that his signings were perhaps not as bad as some make out. Dessers has improved a fair bit and Lammers is showing very decent form albeit for another team. It hasn’t worked out for lammers, as John indicated, decent actor just in the wrong movie. And those were our worst 2 signings. Sima has showed his real qualities as well, and Danillo seems a decent striker as well. Just needed a proper manager to improve them. Not that I’m saying we don’t better in the first team but they’re not as bad as we thought.

Shows a night and day difference in what PC can get out of players. Lammers has scored 1 goal he's no exactly ripping it up. Been terrible last 5 year. Cifuentes also away and will never play for rangers again.

He was always going to be judged on the players we spent the most money on. Danilo Lammers and Cifu all contributed very little and 2 are already gone. Dessers has contributed although there’s still big questions over whether he can be the main striker for us. Considering we spent the best part of £15m on the 4 of those I would say his recruitment wasn’t good enough.

Lammers record for a striker was poor at best whenever I watched him he looked lost, no positional sense, no fighting spirit not looking for space in fact I'd go as far to say he went hiding behind players so he couldn't receive pass, all the characteristics of a player either totally out his depth or lacking severe confidence. I wish him all the best back in Holland but I don't want to see him back in the summer we move on to better quality players, already cortes looks miles better than he ever was.

If you look at Beales signings generally they haven`t made the impact they should have . Butland and Balogun were no risk, we knew what we were getting, Lammers and Cifuentes are gone already, Dowell has contributed very little due to injury but that should be no surprise given his injury record, Dessers has scored a few but none of us really think he is the answer and the jury is out on Danilo as he was missing sitters before he got injured. Sima has done well and the big plus has been Sterling in a role that its likely Beale would never have thought of for him. All the credit should go to Clement for getting a tune out of these players but I still say that at least a couple more will go in the summer.

Just to clarify I’m not saying Beale takes any credit I’m just saying you can see why he initially bought them, a couple are not bad players just not suited to the Scottish game and others have flourished under PC. No manager makes every signing a good one.

Some players simply don’t settle at new clubs it’s a fact.
I believe we will not see Lammers or Cifuentes back in Govan but I thank them and wish them well.

When Beale was here, it was stated somewhere that Rangers had had the worst transfer window in European football and no-one argued. That is not the case now but the transformation is down to the current management team and our transfers in and out will continue to improve under them. This guy has no favorites and that's the way it works.
