Hearing that the board are holding an emergency meeting this morning and that Gio will be attending to tender his resignation to the board. Gio and Tavernier both had a major disagreement with the teams tactics at half time. The board are now preparing to seek a new manager for the club, with 2 names being mentioned one of which is Michael Beale at the moment.

I don't think so but Thomson and McCann would be my management team or if gio can bring in someone like Alex Rae to enforce what it means to play for rangers I think that may be better. Gio normally has the tactics but without players pushing themselves and team mates to do the hard yards then tactics are useless.

The board are unhappy with Gios comments after the match. The belief is, millions was given to Gio for players that have not matched the expecations for the fees paid for them. Yilmaz and Davies being 2 of his signings. The board are standing firm that they have backed the manager and are seeking to replace him, when he resigns.

How much was spent in the last window to prepare for the champions league it’s a pittance, I always see Europe as a bonus a chance to earn money to strengthen our team, we sold Bassey and Aribo and have not replaced them, we are a weaker team now than last year, I don’t know if there is any truth in the rumour that Gio has been summoned, but who will summon Wilson or even the board, they live in their tower and fiddle while Rome is burning.

I wouldn't want Rogers but I did used to work with a load of boys from Cushendall and one of them was Rogers uncle and as an ex squaddie I was expecting the kind of crap I'd get from Irish companies based in Scotland but they couldn't be nicer and his uncle desy was a really good guy no bigotry in him.

With regards to all the above. Firstly GVB was a Rangers player and a successful one at that. Secondly he went on to have a very successful career as a player and then moved into coaching again successful.
He knows what Rangers is all about and the pressures that go with the job.
The board and Wilson in particular have sold him a dummy. Our total spend for players this window was £12million if I am correct, be lucky to get one Ajax player for that.
The defence in particular Goldson is rubbish. He only signed on for 4yrs again cause Wilson is a clown and no one offered him anything good enough down south. No obections to greegsy staying another year (good back-up) but never is McGlauchlan a No.1 Rangers goalie
NEVER. So right away there is two that should have been hunted out of the club. Tavernier has grown in stature but is a rubbish defender and the arm band should have been taken away at start of GVB's riegn.
During the transfer window we brought in a lot of youngsters some straight into the B team and tillman and the young turkish lad into the first team. I can see we are trying to do things the Ajax way and have a successful academy bringing on the best of the best not just for sale but to transend into the first team, this takes time 1 or 2 seasons at least.
We cannot spend tons of money on players there are so many big projects going on at Ibrox Edminston house, wages, Auchenhowie etc etc.
Wilson and the board have to hold there hands up first and admit they got it wrong before hanging out Gio. Secondly the players must take the blame if they don't understand what is being asked of them or don't want to be here speak up and get to F**k.
I watch the training videos and Gio is usually in among the squad kicking the ball with them having a laugh as well. Maybe he should step back and start yelling at them. Could go on but will leave it at that.
