Simpson will be deployed as a ball playing CB not a midfielder. He’s essentially Edmundsons replacement.
Depending on how Katics is on return from injury will dictate if Balagun gets extension next season so for me the CB positions are sown up already, of course if Goldson were to be sold for a few quid I think we give Balagun new deal and everyone is settled in how we play.

Reckon the only CB that will be sold in the summer will be Edmondson. Balogun will get a new deal and katic will go out on loan for the season and replace balogun at the end of next season unless there is injuries.
