Rangers Rumours Thanks

A blog is something that I have been contemplating doing for quite a while, I would prefer a podcast, but I dont have the technology or the know how for that so here I am.

At the moment I am going to try and update my blog on a weekly basis, probably after weekend fixtures and it will give you an insight into my mind on all things Rangers.

The hardest thing at the moment is where to bloody start, do I talk about football, shares, boardroom drama, Ally McCoist, Mike Ashley, crowd trouble ........ the list is endless but that are a few things that will keep me occupied.

Football and football results is where I will start and Ally McCoist will subsequently come into the equation, starting with a 3-1 humbling at home to the Hibees ........... what a shambles. If 11 players cross the white line and give 100% and get humbled then thats something you just need to put up with, but when there is no passion, no fight, no organisation then you have the right to speak up against it, the players were poor and it was deserved win for Hibs, and this is where Ally McCoist comes into it, this question has been asked before, but does he actually know what he is doing? McGregor, an able centre half at right back, a left back at left midfield, Arnold Peralta in right midfield and Bilel Mohsni ahead of Zaliukus, players out of position and a distinct lack of leadership, its a little wonder that we were hammered. The only saving grace football wise this week was Lewis MacLeod's wonder strike against Livingston at the weekend, and this is no fluke as he done it almost exactly a year ago. That young man is the player that makes Rangers tick and it is very noticable when he is missing, ie the Hibs game, the only sour note being crowd trouble between fans and police, I dont know the full ins and outs of the trouble, but the performance of some of the fans during this was a disgrace and certain folk should be ashamed of themselves in my opinion.

Now into the boardroom where the strange goings on continue to develop, Mike Ashley takes his stake to 9%, buying direct from shareholders as opposed to putting money into the share issue which would have contributed well needed money to the coffers. Some conflicting opinions on this, has he done this as it adds to the power on the "Easdale side" which would veto any possible takeover, or is it because he didnt want any cash going straight in to be taken straight back out by the board while still upping his stake, unfortunately we will only find out one way ....... and thats with time, and it seems that is something we dont have an awful lot of.

Well, I am going to leave it at that, if you want my opinion on anything post a comment on the page and it will be posted up and I will put it into my agenda for next time.

Take it easy guys,
