Bobby Zamora to be confirmed early next week. Posted on here couple days ago. Had a reliable source confirm last night. Not to sure bout this signing. IF it does materialise.

See if we have waited all this time to find out who the mystery striker is and it turns out to be zamora what a letdown that will be.

Surely it isn't Zamora. The guy is 35 and can't play a full season. I know we have Miller at 36 but he defies logic with his fitness. I will be extremely disappointed if it is Zamora or crouch for a matter of fact. We need a young 20-25 year old striker who can come in and learn from guys like Miller and then maybe sell on for a profit in a couple of years.

Was told again this afternoon that the striker we're very close to concluding a deal for is assombalonga of nottingham forest, warbs knows him from his spell working alongside him at watford, hope this is true if he's indeed over his bad injury, my first choice although its very long odds in happening would be soriano of red bull salzburg, what a goalscoring record he's got, would be an amazing signing for us, we can only dream and pray fellow bears!

Dissappointed wee Murdoch been released. Watched him last week at Forthbank until then forgot all about him. Looked like a real prospect aswell. Think we need Holt back in the middle of the park to give a wee bit of energy lacking at the moment. With the exception of Rossiter the others need a kickstart.

Was really impressed with Hodson, up and down a bit like Tav. Very composed on the ball and unlucky not to get on score sheet. My man of the match. Halliday impressive and the hunger of Forrester when he came on superb! Think he may be a key player this season. What a find from the hat. didn't look like a player in his first couple of appearances! Going for 55!
