Sorry I need to say just as we signed ridvan everyone in here and else where for that matter all had the same opinion on our transfer window. And that was it was a really good one we have brought in 2 defenders to replace bassey we have brought in a sticker that’s hit the ground running to replace itten. We have brought in Lawrence, matundo and Tillman all after aribo left in what way have we weakened the squad? Lawrence and Tillman have got the ground running Davis and souttar we are yet to see really anything from because of various personal issues that we are all aware of. Ridvan will take time to settle he’s a young boy moving to a country and a team where there is a massive amount of pressure and expectation to. Matundo other than the game the other night there actually looks like he could be good. Colak scored the goal that got us into the champions league! Tillman looks like he is going to rip the league apart. Lawrence looks like he has already figured out what the club is all about and again looks like he will be solid. Let’s not forget we still have hagi to come back. The only area of the team that is weaker than last season is the keaper and that’s not saying McLaughlin is bad he’s just a step down from mcgregor. We have got rid of some of the fridge players that where never going to get near the team. And made some good money from players we brought in for zero or next to nothing. Just because there hasn’t been anyone in since we signed ridvan doesn’t mean it’s been a piss poor transfer window we have brought in 7 players not everyone will hit the ground running.

First off I’ll start by stating I’ve been on this site for years and never posted I just check the pages to see if there is any info on here but I had to reply to this. Why is the term “arm chair” fan being branded about like it’s some sort of fan that teams don’t want? Just because someone can’t make every home game for any reason does not mean they are arm chair fans and even if it did why are we arguing with each other over opinions? I’m sure we all have different opinions on players before and after they sign. We are allowed to have diffrent opinions. But we don’t need to attack each other because of it. Personally I look at the Ross Barkley roumor and think given his fitness record I don’t want to sing a player and spend a good Chunk of our wage bill on someone that will probably play about 15 games and take to Xmas to be match fit. I’m not saying he doesn’t have ability because he does but he’s hardly kicked a ball in 2 years he’s not coming into any team and hitting the ground running.
