Harry Winks is just is just 19 (20 in February) and Glasgow Rangers are keen to take him to the pressure atmosphere of Ibrox, where despite playing in the Championship they fill the 51,082 stadia and have a massive travelling support. The expectation there is huge, it is a must win club and exactly the mentality we want our player involved with. The other plus is Mark Warburton is the new manager there this season, last season he was at Brentford and Mauricio Pochettino was delighted with the work he did with Alex Pritchard on loan there for the season. I'd rather have Shaq Coulthirst or Grant Ward, or ideally all three. What's the chances?

RANGERS has today been informed that the Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre which was the intended venue for the Requisitioned General Meeting (“GM”) on Wednesday 4 March 2015 is no longer available.

The hotel management at the Millennium Gloucester has taken advice from different quarters and concluded that the GM cannot be managed without significant disruption to guests and neighbours.
The hotel management felt it necessary to take this position after receiving numerous complaints and false information from individuals purporting to be shareholders.
The Board is concerned the situation was exacerbated by irresponsible and inaccurate media coverage.
An alternative venue is currently being sought in the London area and will be announced as soon as possible.
The Board apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused shareholders due to matters out with its control.
Just as we thought would happen.
AJM.

1.) No doubt this is another cynical tactic by the board

{Ed039's Note - Nothing to do with the board, the hotel can not guarantee the comfort of its guests and neighbours, I work in a hotel, and not one of the standard this one is and I know what rowdy guests do, not just to the guests but to the property and surrounding areas, its not a good idea)

2.) @abear

Do you know who selects the venue for the egm? Does the NOMAD have any say in this, and if so why select London at an estimated cost of £200k could this be a final payday to try and drawdown the second tranche of £5m? This is an outrage and the LSE or AIM should be asking serious questions of the nomad

3.) Aye there was a guy on radio clyde saying that could happen ta night and he said he had heard that Ashley was trying ta put us inta admin again.

4.) Fair point ed, much appreciated.

5.) If only rangers owned a large building that could comfortably seat a couple of thousand shareholders, was free and was local. wait a minute.

6.) Andy Mac, there is no way rangers will be put into admin again too many offers on table to provide funding

7.) Ed although I think you make a fair comment with regards hotel bein inadequate, I also think the board should have thought this out, as it now makes them look even shadier (if that's possible) why don't they hold it at Chelsea ground as it's only a mile down the road from the now canceled hotel.

His contract was not terminated at that point by the club, he asked them to accept his resignation with no financial compensation to be paid to any club he may be asked to join. Rangers have accepted.

Could not agree more damo666 the club story over 12 months has been
unbelievable, from the first game 6-2 against Hibs, with players I had not heard off, to the win against Celtic it was truly MAGICAL.
The signings we have made for the new season all appear to be top
class, for very little outlay, counting the days.
MON THE HAT.

Television as always sets fixtures, BT Sport in this case i think
as for Hibs and Falkirk cutting our lead, we welcome the chase.
Bring it on.
