Mng guys, my first comment is the game was crying out for a diagonal ball from the right flank to the left, especially in the first half, where Yilmaz was all on his lonesome time and time again. His strength is his speed. Secondly, it seems to be the plan nowadays is possession football, if we have the the ball the opposition can't do anything, however a quicker advance with the ball would help.

Most decent teams play possession football but are then able to move the ball quickly when the opportunity arises.

I agree Bluetoon, in the first half I thought Ridvan was one of the ballboys on the left, second half he got into the game a bit more, I think he was a bit ring rusty . Rangers didn’t use the possession they had to their advantage and build up play is slow, if we had been playing better opponents we may of struggled to score . but we did score 2 cracking goals . I think Danilo will be out for a while so it’s time for whoever takes his position to grab the opportunity.

Goldson uses the diagonal to the left all the time when Barisic or a winger is there but Yilmaz doesn`t take up the right positions and with Lawrence being sked to play as a left midfielder there was no space. As usual our manager playing square pegs in round holes in a system that we don`t understand, and neither do the players it appears. Yilmaz is a complete waste of money he can`t cross a ball and he can`t defend. Needs replaced in January.

WslGers, didn't see anything wrong with the positions Yilmaz was taking up yesterday in the first half, nor did I see Lawrence "crowding" him out. The nearest player to him was St Js right back who was well inside.

I haven't seen anything yet to suggest that Dessers will be a top signing. I hope that I am wrong but I just don't see it. Danilo will be missed and I sincerely hope that he is back soon. i'm hoping that Lammers steps up and shows that he can lead the line.

Still don't see how people say colak didn't fit system yet dessers does?
For me they are same type player that you need to put ball on a plate for them.

Gofor colak issue was not he did not fit system, he would declare himself unfit to train or play. He was not interested when Beale arrived.
