I'm saying we need to give the manager a chance to turn this round. What kind of basket case would we be sacking him so few games into the season? Yes I know he's been here longer than that but did anybody really think things would click right away with a host of new players. If the goal that was a goal had stood the narrative would be a lot different. Rodgers got the breaks at the weekend and our main problem was not marking McGregor closely. How many times has he played in these games and nobody remembers him playing? I say stick with it. Just my opinion. We might very well win this league.

Seeker c'mon it’s not just about results, a good few and me included expected a slow start until the team got used to one another and should be seeing some signs of that by now, dosent know his best 11! Continually changed personnel so players look like strangers, left expensive players out the team without giving them a proper run in the team, has reverted back to playing players that were well out of favour last year, no style of play, slow predictable buil up after being promised fast football and on and on.
All those point to worrying signs for me.

Didn`t think everything would click right away and I did think qualifying for the Champions League might be a big ask but I did not expect us to get beat at Kilmarnock by a team who had as many new faces as we did. I did not expect us to be so passive to get beat by a poor Celtic team at Ibrox. A lack of tactical nous and motivation has been apparent in all the games we have struggled . I don`t think we needed to mark McGregor but we should have had someone designated to play in his area and harry him when they had the ball . We did it before and it works . There is no defence for the poor signings, lack of a system and poor organisation at the back . The manager is to blame and should go, immediately .

Storm we beat them in a dead rubber when they had half a team and we’re basically treble winners, stop gone on about it was worth absolutely Notting to our season.

Fact of the matter is regardless of marking Mcgregor or not that wasnt the difference in the game. They scored from a returned ball from Goldson trying to be cute with a header in the last seconds of the half. We had chances in both halfs, as did they but our forwards didn't make them count. Its all if n buts, if Roofes goal stood and Lammers put his away we’re screaming Beales made amends for CL and Brenda is on the shakey peg! I think this team will come good but it may have to take a bit of patience.

It was glaringly obvious that we needed to get closer to and to cut off the supply to McGregor.

How come everyone on here knows how to beat Celtic apart from the charlatan of a manager we have. Celtic should be trying to deal with us and our players rather than us worrying about them.

Turn this season round? We are 4 points behind them lot with only 4 league games played and if anything we look likely to drop more points. Then we were dumped out of europe on our arse but hey let's not worry about that as we got europa league to fall back on whoop (sarcasm)

It's clear the board won't be sacking Beale but we need to get behind him and the team! The team always have the fans backing ie we want them to win but are entitled to have a go when players don't perform and have a clueless manager.

Agreed Raskin, we should be able to beat them without marking him out the game as we should impose ourselves on the game and make them want to man mark our danger players but we don't!

I don't have any confidence in Beale anymore. But I do agree you need to give him a chance to turn it around.

I just think it's too soon in a season to sack a manager, especially after so many new players joined in the summer.

If he gets sacked now we are at risk of becoming a toxic club that none of the better candidates to be next manager will want to get involved with.

Wslgers, remember Killie also beat celtic. Tbh I don't think there is anything between the squads. In fact, given our full squad we might even be able to pick a team that's better than theirs. Beale needs to work out what that team is and quick as he won't sustain another 2 or 3 dodgy results before the knives will really be put for him.

Seeker man we need stop this am honestly sick of hearing we have a better squad than Celtic. It’ll get thrown back in your face at the end of the season when they’ve won the league again and we have a team who will probably struggle to win the league cup. They have a squad of proven winners and a manager who has a proven track record of winning this league. We have a manager who has won nothing and a playing squad who have won either nothing or 1 league 1 cup in the last 12 years. We’ve not been them in a meaningful game in the league in years either. Until we start to regularly beat them and win multiple trophies and leagues I won’t buy into the our squad is as good or better argument.

TheSeeker, that just underlines what a poor team Celtic are at the moment which only emphasises my point about what a bad result it was to get beat by them on our own pitch. There is no way we have a better squad than them they have all except 3 of the team that one the treble still at the club . They brought on a Norwegian youngster that they have just signed and within minutes he played a pass to cut us open and set up a chance and brought a good save out of Butland. What impact did our subs make? In the first half without last ditch interventions by Tav and Goldson we would have been three down. I don`t believe we have as a good a squad but if we do then the reason we are so poor must be the manager.
