Last I heard

we settled out of court with Mike Ashely and apparently that was supposed to be the end of it and that was last summer?

A High Court of Justice document revealed the parties have now agreed to resolve matters on a confidential basis and that proceedings have been discontinued with immediate effect.

Please direct this to me if you can, there is a court session in May to see if we have agreed terms with Ashley claiming a further ten million

We then have the case he is supporting with elite, Hummel where he is a key player for a multi million claim

We r contesting both claims

We r also still debating over his lawyers fees circa one million.

Thestig I believe this to be the case however Mike is not satisfied by this and is actively trying to gain access again via other investors. John 27 names one Kyle fox being one of those investors and I have heard there’s been another foreign investor who has been sniffing around. The likes of fox uses other peoples money to invest and tries to gain profits usually by ways of asset stripping etc.
Very dangerous people. The current board split opinion but they are safe hands.

So John if this so, how did it happen especially the Hummel situation. If we win great, if we lose who gave the advise?

there's several clubs shops all closing down that are affiliated with elite
most reports I've read on it is the action isn't good and will more than like should be thrown out

if we have been stupid enough to enter contracts and break them without realizing the future consequence's then its very silly business practice and whoever responsible shouldn't be anywhere near a football club or any business in that matter.

we have been running a business for 25 years without once been anywhere near a court might not be a big business but it turns over 1.5m a year without issues
we seek advice from fit and proper financial experts when needed but generally the accounts dept have things tip top without issues.

someone of parks business acumen and background knows business why we in such predicament's?

in all honesty its not my forte - merchandise sales and court sessions and lawyers and insolvency issues breaking contracts etc etc

thats the clubs financial advisers and board members need to sort that
ill worry about what we see on the pitch and what outlay we put on players and look for the return and what they bring to the team.

back ground financial problems are the boards and its what they do and take on
taking on a club like ours our size and demand and the trust the season ticket holders and shareholders put into them.

Mike Ashley is still extremely interested in us as he sees the potential of our club and the opportunity to take it to another level whilst being extremely successful financially for him of course and the club being successful domestically and in Europe - that was always his thinking and before anyone lambasts me - I am not an Ashley fan or supporter but if he can see it then other potential investors can also see it so the fat man sniffing around can do us, as a club no harm, there are other investors who are willing to invest with Ashley and his name will not appear upfront - but, he has a leverage with our current board with regards to legal issues - transparency is not a term our current board do not openly share with the outside circle - there will be change within 6 months and investment much greater than we currently have or our current board could provide - 99% sure fat ashley will be involved either directly or indirectly.

If investment was to come in I'd hope Ashley wouldn't be allowed 1 share never mind substantially more also this investment would it be used to buy any of the existing directors out surely if any1 wanted a stake in our club they'd be aware dave King was willing to sell his shares.

The Stig - Ashley knows we are a potential money maker - he always has - and he has sat back and waited until the time is coming, and he is working all sorts of deals behind the scenes with our board to reach agreements that are of a mutual benefit to all parties, Rangers board don't need more court cases, neither does Ashley, But and its an extremely important But, if it was coming to a serious court room battle, our board could not compete with the fat man, like it or not, that is why there has been and still is ongoing negotiations for some time.
