Very surprised that Kent or Alfie haven't been snapped up by someone yet on a pre contract. In my opinion I think reality will hit home gers is probably biggest club they will play for and I wouldn't be surprised if both sign extensions to there contract within the next week.

Think they know they'll still play and leave at the end of the contract, they know their still valuable and the club will have to spend a fortune to replace them so every chance between now and the end of the season they step up and prove their worth the cash they want.

I have a sneaky feeling, with no real evidence, that Kent has already agreed to sign on.

My thinking is waiting to existing contract runs out so they can cancel the sell on from Liverpool. TBH not even sure they can do that.

Otherwise he has the worst agent in history, for all the criticism he gets the boy has loads of ability and should find it easy to get a new club with freedom of contract.

Gut feeling that Alfie is different and will leave at end of season but also find it strange he has not got a precontract with someone already.

I think Kent will he’s settled with his mrs here and Beale sees him as a very important part of his team. Alfredo I’m not so sure and putting a different slant on it, will Beale want to keep him on the wages he’s apparently demanding? Or will he wave to freshen things up and bring in another.

its really quite incredible for all some folk say alfie is, that we know of one offer in all these years, and we have no idea if that was genuine, because a foriegn chairman said it doesn't make it true, i find it incredible nobody in england is interested.

It's surprising that in 5 years we've only had 1 bid for Alfie the 16m from lille whilst SG was manager maybe been others we don't know of but a fit Alfie would enhance most teams perhaps his reputation goes against him.

Alfie i think will be off in the summer no man is bigger than the club and there are certainly better strikers out there than alfie.

Maybe the reason Morelos hasn't even signed a pre-contract is because he isn't rated outside of Scotland any more. It is his lack of consistency of performance that is holding him back, just an opinion I hold guys, there are better CF's out there nowadays that are more prolific.

I heard something similar about running contract down to avoid another payment with Goldson. Don't know if any truth in it but if it was I could see how avoiding a further payment would mean the club could give more money to the player at the same cost to club.
