I see Dundee utd are on tv tonight playing AZ Alkmaar away in the 2nd leg of their European qualifier. I don't usually want them to win anything but tonight i hope they can win or draw and progress and try to get into the conference league. They are 1-0 up from the home leg so it should be a decent game anyway.

If we want automatic qualifications into the champions League the better all Scottish teams do in Europe the better it will be for us all. In the 1980's I loved watching Dundee utd and Aberdeen getting to European finals. As we all did relatively well in those days there wasn't the inferiority complexes we have nowadays in the Scottish topflight. They hate us because we are successful we hate them because they put us down the league's to try and strip our success. Well since then we have won the league, Scottish cup and played in a European final we don't need to look at ourselves from the small man syndrome point of view. We are rangers they are no threat to us but they can benefit us a stronger league means a stronger rangers. We can hate them when we play them but to the outside world like it or not they represent us and us them when we play on the continent. The people to hate are the chairman that tried to cover up their own failings by dumping all the blame on us, the fans of those clubs lapped it up and we know what that's like after the dodgy owners we have had. I will be supporting dungdee utd tonight and hearts next week. Us all doing well in Europe will have great bearing on the selling position of our game when negotiating our next TV deal. Which have been pitiful.

Dundee Utd were at the forefront during our demise and were vocal in our sanctions and dropping to lower tier. I hope they get skelped.
