we seem to be associated with a lot of players from Middlebrough FC, not that i don't pretend to know a lot about them, but the finished mid table and conceeded 53 goals this season. is this our level?
i think we should be aiming higher than a mid table championship side.

IMO, some need to get these thoughts out of their heads, that because we may possibly be signing a player or possibly two from in this instance middlesborough, that that's not good enough for rangers, because that for me anyway is crap talk! We signed scott wright from aberdeen and he's looking the part, so that for one throws these theories out the window! Its about how any player fits into our club that's important and how steven gerrard can improve them ie like ryan jack 🤔.

SGL I agree with you it’s the same when we are looking at someone from a Scotland as well it’s like a snobbery from some of our fans that so called lesser teams can’t have good players.

Just because the team and squad overall is goof enough doesn't mean there isn't gems who would excel in better sides. Look at Kamara.

We should be and are bringing in players from any division in any country. Your comment makes no sense as you seem to think we should only spend millions of pounds on players from the top divisions because that type of player doesn't come cheap.
Kamara free from Dundee although we paid 50k to get him in early.
Aribo free and paid a small development fee.
Morelos 1million.
Barasic 2 million
There's just a few examples of some players from lower league teams who are all great players and worth a hell of a lot more than we paid who will make the club millions in profit.
We are now in a great place and our club is being run by a team of great people from top to bottom who are doing a fantastic job on signing cheap players and turning them into very valuable assets.
