Just watched the game again today. So Goldson had a great chance to score with his head and the ball goes off his shoulder. For their penalty, Goldson could and should of cleared the cross ball with his head but he decides to clear it with a clear elbow out. WTF?

Fully agree Dado but Goldson is only one of many that shouldn't be in the team next season. What I would say is that whatever it takes we must sign Sima; that is the quality we should be targeting for the team.

I am not a Goldson fan but saying he bottled it is nonesense.

He was putting himself between his man and the goal. Then it takes a flick off maeda and he has zero time to react. His right elbow came up as he lifted his left foot to block.

For me it was a much softer pen than Celtic at hearts but both were pens by the rules. Not that the shockingly biased commentators we have would admit that.

Said it a few months ago goldson is finished imo and got ridiculed. Problem is he is on a massive contract with 2 years left on it. I said before the game we usually gift them a goal or 2 and it happened again. Also said i belieÿved we would need 3 goals to win the game, turns out it was 4.
Having said that i don't get why celtic are being praised in the media. The stats are similar and they shipped a 2 goal lead. We would be furious if that was us.
Cantwell sima matondo and balogun start for me on wednesday. Diomande and lundstram look shattered and i'd play sterling centre mid if ridvan is back. We are soft as sh*t through our spine at the moment.

Dado - Fully agree - 6 yrs from Goldson is more than enough in the light blue - fresh young blood required in that position - he has served us well but best if we improve in CH position
He should be more an attacking threat in opposition box on regular basis too. Pacey speedy forwards do him regularly as he has lost a yard of pace and also how many times this year has he been rag-dolled by opposing CFs - many! Just wish we could unearth another Goughie ?.
