What's the situation re. Lunny? Are we actively talking to his agent about a new contract he's became prob the most improved player since PC came and I'd hope he. ll stay on.

Great news if he signs a new contract John and keeps playing the way he is. For me he downed tools for both Gio and MB and I would have chased him. However he has rediscovered his europa league form under PC.

I do have on good authority that he is one of the highest, if not top, paid players at the club so that might have an impact on any decision.

I don't know if it's just me but he strikes me as a samaras type. as in when contract is nearly up he grabs the bulls by the horns and becomes unplayable at times I. e now.

Was same on run to. europa league final I'm sure the majority of us had him shipped back to England as he was utter gash right up to end of January transfer window

I hope he stay and continues to perform the way he has mind you.

There are lots of reasons players lose form, including playing with injuries but it doesn`t mean that player has downed tools. To say Lundstram is playing better because his contract is nearly up and say that he did the same in the Euro run is nonsense. He only signed at the start of that season so his contract couldn`t be nearly up so what relevance could the January window have? I get that fans have players they like and others they dislike but the complete lack of respect for players in our own team at times is disgraceful. Criticise players for being off form or making mistakes but don`t accuse them of not trying or not caring just based on them not playing well.
