Just a hunch, obviously we have a bit of money to spend. What sticks out like a sore thumb is a goal scorer which of all the forwards we have not one is an out and out goal scorer.

Shankland is more than affordable with a good chunk of money left over with what's being banded about in terms of what we have on here.

Shankland hasn't signed his very lucrative new contract, why not? Is there something in him coming to Rangers. Also before everyone slates how bad, how he can't run and the rest, the question is would shankland be an upgrade on what we currently have I terms of scoring consistently. Would he get more goals within a better team getting better supplied with chances?

I think there is something in Shankland to Rangers, and I quite like that everyone and there dug has been linked with us and the club remain silent on targets.

I would be disappointed if we spend £4m or more on Shankland, at £2m, maybe £2.5m or enticing Hearts to take one or two of our young players as part of the deal would work for me, but I don't see that happening sadly.

Well if info is correct and John gets some good info then he isn’t a top target, looks like the manager has other players he would rather have.
Be interesting to see what happens now but in my opinion we are looking elsewhere at younger options.

Think the board seen the possibility of a big sell on with Dhenky so we’re willing to push the boat out, Shankland tho I would like him and could be the difference of winning the title is dead money as soon as deal is done, be surprised if we went above 3 m for him.

So most on here wouldn't think twice of paying 8m for denkey who I confess know nothing about and pretty sure most don't know much about. From what I can see he's had 1 good half season in a league similar to ours isn't that a huge gamble? Because he is foreign and comes with a big price tag everyone is up for it, why is that? I get the sell on part, but still a huge risk. guys I'm not against the signing just putting this out there for discussions sake. Thoughts guys.

Coopersdad, you say he could be the difference to winning a title, but then say its dead money? If he helps us to a title or 2 its not dead money its money very well spent imo.
