Filip Helander Has now played 10 games and mostly 90 mins at that but at us he had an injury and would be likely not to play again so our medical team actually know anything ?.

Or could it be that because he was so injury prone for us, and like Roofe, won’t kick a ball if he gets a snag on his kit, that we cut our losses and punted him?

I really rated big filip helander very highly and was an old school centre half and the best defender at rangers, when he was with us ? Terrific in the air, very strong in the challenge and a very good left foot ?A pity he was out for ages with his injury, which now seems to have cleared up ?wish we still had him, injury free of course ?I think this is why we're possibly pursuing trying to sign scott mckenna ie. good in the air, very strong in the challenge, left footed and a sort of old school, no nonsense centre half ?A lot of similarities mckenna has to what helander has although mckenna definitely not as good as big helander ?.

Rfc22, we've a great medical team who know what they're talking about. Helander was hardly fit in his last two seasons with us, and rightly wasn't offered a new contract.

Helander was injury prone for us the proof is their what can our medical team do? No one on here wanted him to get a new deal but now the guy is fit our medical team is clueless If we have him a new contract this place would have blew up at the time.

I remember Andy Webster signing for us years ago it was one injury after another yet he was almost ever present for Hearts and Dundee Utd.
Is it perhaps that the weight of expectation is much greater at Rangers and that these guys can’t handle it.
For instance does anybody know the details of Roofed injury?

websters bottle went, he was physically sick before his first intended game, walter withdrew him, theo snelders was the same, and i personally know a couple who just couldn't go out onto the ibrox pitch for nerves.
