Confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. Fabio Silva on loan for rest of the season.

He was the one I hinted at my last post, although Romano's tweet suggests no buy out although my source said there would be one.

To be fair to John, he did say we were looking at strikers in a much higher level, when I was debating with him the merits of Shankland, so fair play mate.
Hearing were covering the full wages which is 80k a week, which is 1.5-2m for the rest of season, when I think 80k a week, I think no way then when I think 2m for that level of striker, I can see the sense in it.
I also seen that Brighton ar looking for upwards of 10m for Sima and were considering this. Again, boys young and imo very good so if we're going 6.5m for Kent a few years back then maybe good outlay for Sima, if he plays well in europa and maybe champs league next year, we could easily get back 3 times that.

I’ve seen Silva play (not much) but enough to see that he’s very quick and tricky, I never put him down as a cf though, always thought he made the chances? Obviously big Phil see him differently?
If he’s only on loan until the end of the season, methinks Rangers have someone in mind for the summer?
