Sima deal is just a straight loan no buy option.

28 Jun 2023 23:18:08
Thats not ideal. But he will be a massive improvement on sakala and matondo ill accept it this time.

2.) 28 Jun 2023
28 Jun 2023 23:35:24
Gc he will have 1 year left after his loan so we would be in a good position to buy.

3.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 00:24:21
Sakala doesn't deserve the bad treatment he's getting did well for us last year had a couple of big misses yes I get that but still very harsh was our main goal threat towards end of season.

4.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 00:25:43
RFC22 he would be in a good position for others to buy too that's the point even say a Celtic could nip in . would you want that no!

Stupid without option to buy should never go loan route unless the option there.

29 Jun 2023 01:15:13
Very disappointing if true. I'll wait til the details are official before I get my knickers in a twist though.

6.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 01:31:43
If he does well and we want him, I'm sure Brighton will look to deal with us first over other potential suitors unless someone bids silly money for him.

7.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 03:37:57
Without a firm option to buy I would be very wary of this deal. Too easy for others to outbid us if he has a good season.

8.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 04:00:50
Brighton will 100% sell to highest bidder with no regard for what we want.

9.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 05:11:55
If Sima does well at Rangers then Brighton might offer him a new contract. They can offer EPL wages and another shot at a top 5 league. We won't be able to compete.

Just enjoy him while you can.

10.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 06:15:50
How is it stupid? Do we not take him just because Brighton don’t want to put an option to buy in the loan deal? Do we cut our nose off? Beale wants him whether it’s a loan deal only or not.

11.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 06:34:52
If there is a quality player that we can't afford to buy outright i don't really see the issue, if he comes in and does well then it fills a gap and we start looking for his replacement for next year or if we can afford it, sign him.

12.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 06:56:23
Strange maybe not but he’s been loaned out twice
The current manager obviously doesn’t fancy him
Hence another loan, this time to us with no option to buy included, so who’s actually pulling the strings at Brighton, i know he still young so the theory is when we reach European football and sima plays he’ll be seen and the enquiries will skyrocket that’s my theory
But he has to perform well here and abroad.

13.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 07:16:02
David Weir no doubt helped beale out ith this loan deal, let's focus on what Sima can do for us this season, not what will happen with him by seasons end. let's get theleague won first then we can ponder on next season and decide if its an option to buy Sima.

14.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 07:20:49
I highly doubt we will be seeing Dessers, Hagi wright, Traore or Tillman in a rangers shift this season.

More than Likely Danilo pererria and Josh Maja,
Willbe the CFs optoons along with Abdullah Sima and kemar Roofe.
Danilo is a far netter option to Dessers.

15.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 07:34:34
If he does well and hits the heights he was deemed capable of a few years ago he may well take us all the way to the title, which would guarantee CL Group and I would happily shake his hand, say goodbye and thank him.
With the CL money then guaranteed we could buy a decent replacement and build again.
It's all about winning that title and securing the group qualification next year.
Go get em Sima lad!

16.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 07:46:42
If Sima's contributes to us making the ECL then I'm sure no one will complain if it's a loan only option.

17.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 07:53:32
I'm normally against loans but this season so much is at stake with the Tim's breathing down our neck but also if this guy does well and we do well and in Europe we keep our coefficient standing then we are away to the club world cup and that is money we need to be chasing. Only 12 clubs from Europe shall be there so it really raises the profile of the club and shall make us an attractive option when we try to sign players. I think there is a feeling within the club that this is something to chase as the standard of player we are going for is an upgrade on previous campaigns.

18.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 08:06:03
I get the disappointment I’m not having the potential option to buy at the end of the loan, but if this boy comes in and performs at a level where we would be desperate for him to stay, while allowing us to spend fees on players where we are in desperate need I. E a top no 9 (or 2), then I’m all for it. This season is about wrestling the title back and I’m encouraged by the improvements to our squad so far.

19.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 09:20:57
I don't see what the big deal is. If this boy comes in and helps us win the league and qualify for CL then its a win win for us.

20.) 29 Jun 2023

I read an article about this lad Sima yesterday that was unreal. He had the 3rd highest amount of successful dribbles in the French league when it came to the oppositions final third. The only two who were ahead of him were Messi and Mbappe. It also spoke about his dominance in the air. Angers used him as a lone front man chasing lost causes and he had less than 2 chances per game to try and score so itks no wonder his stats are so poor. Put him in a Rangers team against SPFL sides and he’ll run riot. This might actually be the best player we sign this window.

21.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 11:17:19
Read that as well verdant very impressive mate.

22.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 11:22:53
Verdant how does he do against ten defenders,

23.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 11:50:02
@John - Sima has a bit of everything: Strong in the air, quick, can dribble, score, and create chances. I think a combination of Sima, Danilo, Lammers, with Cantwell behind would run riot in the SPFL.

24.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 12:16:27
Gofor Sakala is just getting better and better with game time looks like a player that needs to constantly be playing.

25.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 13:05:23
Callanr money talks and Celtic have more simple.

26.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 13:06:52
The concern for me is we have been giving them the chance to gazzump us the last few years by talking about players before Thier ours (manager) and deals like this loan deal.

27.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 13:13:59
Let’s wait and see, u have now stated four players, your original post said sima would dribble past everyone.

28.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 13:40:35
I've every confidence sima will be a decent player for us but we should have even given Brighton a high buy out option than none at all.

And storm I already answered that question but you obviously just see my name and say opposite without reading whole point.

29.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 13:47:45
Gofor in fairness no one inside ranger’s talking to media like Xmas.

30.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 14:03:12
John that's easy mate he leathers a looping shot right over them intae the back of the net :)
He is big strong lad too, not easy to push off the ball, i'm thinking beale will play him as an outright CF, though occasionaly on the LW or RW.
He is naturally a LW or CF, has been played as a RW a fair bit, think matondo, who is usually a RW but seems to be better as a LW.

31.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 14:32:29
LH he has played 38 games on the rw,28/ 29 cf,6 lw,1 game attacking midfielder. scored 19 goals from the rw 2 from the lw.

32.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 15:54:11
Sakala is very far from what we need.

33.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 16:30:08
Beale we can post all the past stats we want mate, Sima will be played in the best position beale sees fit, and i believe that will be as a CF.
You are right on the RW position though mate.

34.) 29 Jun 2023
29 Jun 2023 17:07:14
That is where he has played his most games, he has played more on the rw than cf lw cam put together lh so clearly that's his main position, yes Beale could play him slightly wide on the right with another cf operating on the left side.
