I feel I am stuck between a rock and a hard place regarding supposed rumours that Ryan Kent will sign new contract if Beale arrives.

1. Angry if that is the case as he obviously downed tools for GVB and his performances were sub-standard for a long time - no matter what tactics were used in games.
2. Pleased in one way as then if Beale is able to resurrect his career and we still could have player who will contribute positively to team and also could bring money to the club if his performances take a turnaround. It would then seem that we have not dropped 7 mill down the stank.
What's your thoughts guys?

Where was your loyalty when you were calling for GVB to be sacked, Ben? You’ve never booed a player and wanted him out the club? Stop being hypocritical. Loyalty is a two way street, and I think we can both agree, it doesn’t exist in football.

Awk get a grip! He said a few months ago when he joined them if rangers came calling he couldn’t say no! We should feel privileged he rejected wolves but is willing to come back to us. Says a lot about his love for the club in my eyes! Need to get behind him or he will stand no chance! The lure of the club was obviously too big and that’s not a bad thing! He was loyal to qpr until the big rangers came calling.

Benji Bob I have my reservations but you need to give beale a chance nobody knows what will happen for certain absolutely nobody, I though gio was a perfect fit, sometimes things click sometimes they don't, let's get behind the manager, the team and bring back the buzz at the club, have a read at an article I posted on the banter page it was a great read on beales time at QPR It goes in to the tactics quite deep.

I'd have to say he's not inspiring me but I will fully support him. I'm certainly not calling him a snake and he's leaving both qpr and villa in a better place and left us in a better place than when he arrived. We follow on WATP.

Hate to say it but he will get zero leeway. If he doesn't hit the road running there will be blood letting on a scale never before seen. Saw a poster calling him a weasel and that's despite rumours that he had an agreement with QPR that he would have a release clause if Rangers wanted him. Don't shoot the messenger, it's a rumour. Actually feel sorry for the guy because I fear what is coming.

Paul I reckon you will see a different Ryan kent under Beale. Makes no sense losing him for free. Gios first training session makaay told kent tricks were for the circus. The boys played with freedom and been able to express himself for years. Gio and that coaching team destroyed the Ryan kent we know and love. He looked scared to take a player on under gio everything went back to barisic.

Monty a lot changes for a manager in a few games though at point he rejected QPR were top slipped quite a bit since then so maybe he started to panick and wants to keep his stock high.

Hearsay storm, as I've said, it is a rumour. No proof unless either qpr or Beale himself confirms it.

The question for me is not about Beale but rather about the Board. It wouldn't matter who the manager is, if the Board don't back them in the transfer market then they are at an immediate disadvantage and that has been a problem for the past two seasons.
People talk about Loyalty, well to be fair to Beale, he was loyal to Gerrard when he went with him to Villa. He has never hidden the fact that he would return to us and he has my respect for taking what will be a very difficult job when he could have stayed at QPR.
I wish him well and I just hope that he is given the backing necessary by our Board so that he can get us back to where we belong!
