Bailey Rice has agreed to join Rangers, this may not happen till October on his 16 birthday

The five players who joined yesterday and the lad pollard wages and accommodation are covered in the first year by money received from Wilson leaving. Hopefully we see lots off add ons for Rory and I wish the kid all the success in England.

me too, not a rangers fan so he moves on and we look towards a bigger and better future, one of the boys here mentioned rice a few days ago, and i have been told great things about this boy from saints from an old pal who still does community work for them.

Yes John25,i have good solid info on bailey rice has chosen to sign for rangers over celtic ?I know someone very close to bailey's dad barry rice and was told young bailey went into speak to rangers at the tail end of last week. He then at the weekend there spoke to celtic and although celtic moneywise i'm told was much more than rangers offer,
young bailey still chose to go to rangers his boyhood idols ???.

From what I gather these look to be pro contracts meaning we shouldn’t lose on development arrangement.

I know everyone seems to be getting impatient with the lack of new faces for the first team but both sides of this need to work.

We need the quality in the youth team so that next time we have a Kent or a Morelos contract expiring we can sell and replace from youth team.

Great news John, we certainly appear to be bringing in some real quality on top of the excellent youngsters already on our books. This all looks excellent for the future. I guess my question is, when do you reckon that we will see some move up to the first Team Squad. I know that young Lowry and King are already there and hopefully McCann as well, I am just looking at how we bridge what might be two or three years where we d not imo, have the quality with players recruited over the past two or three transfer windows that were presumably signed as first Team Players.

bee, it’s the same every year, someone on here was having palpitations at this time last year, it’s a strange thing but some people can’t handle any transfer window, they think we should be announcing a new player evrey day, last year was really quite scary, one guy was on every hour to tell us he thought we were going in administration because we hadn’t bought anyone, it was about june 26th,

there’s 60 odd days to go yet.
