Can’t see us moving a CB on. We have 3 competitions still to play for so we’d need to replace Souttar if that happened. What would a good CB cost? £3m maybe? If so, then why not just spend the £3m for Shankland without players also in the deal?

souttar is a sick note . unfortunately and as we know, we should move that type of player on asap. case in point Roofe and he should have been moved on a long time ago. no sentiment if we are going to be winners in the trophy dept. and I'll include tom lawrence in there along with Ryan jack.

Souttar is good to have as back up and for Scottish quota for Europe. He makes sense to have in the squad but he’s not the best defender. Loses too much in the air which leads to goals.
