Here's a thought everyone should consider, how would we all feel if we passed up on Shankland and celtic signed him up? Guy could possibly fire them to the title.

Looking at his goal yesterday and last weekends cracker he's now scored 17 and whoever signs him he will be a major asset for the title - just make sure its us we have to go for him unless they price him out of the market which is a distinct possibility.

There’s talk Celtic will be in the market for a striker in January,
We could do with cover in that area with the injury list and then we say goodbye to Roofe at the end of the season,
Could be the difference in winning the league.

His overall play was poor but when the chance came he finished it in style. The dilemma is for most of the game he is slow and clumsy but given a chance he knows where the goal is and is a decent finisher.

Last season he scored 28 goals in all competitions,13 of those 28 were penalties, tav is our penalty kick taker. In 47 games last year he scored 15 goals from open play they stats don't seem that good for your main striker now do they. If we sign shankland he would be a back up to danilo. I said in my last post about neither old firm managers past or present wanting him why is that?

What I'm getting at spud is you have said ifs buts and maybes in response to a post and then made a post about ifs buts and maybes in regards to Dessers taking pens.

So by using your ifs buts and maybes logic, what if Colak, who you said couldn't play beales system and wasn't a rangers cf, what if he took our pens he would have had 30+ goals.

To complicate your opinion even further you slate beale and call him a fraud yet you wanted players out that you said couldn't play beales system.

What about his link up play ulster, let's face it those stats from open play that you say don't look good for your main striker were good enough for el ? to get a free pass and every excuse made in his defence like link up play. Its funny how people change their tune for certain players.
