I reckon our club doctor, must be Doctor Doolittle .

BrummieGer, i think our problem lies with sorting the fitness problems/ issues out before it gets near our club doctor ? Prevention better than cure is what clement is hitting on and ?% correctly so ? So to blame it all totally on our club doctor is way off the mark my friend ?.

SWS I totally agree with you, but the injuries keep on recurring to the same players, I’ve heard Roofe has been sent to Belgium to see someone by clement, Raskin has had a recurrence of the calf injury, Barisic groin again, the list goes on, surely the Doc has a say on their treatment/ rehab otherwise what’s he doing there .

You’ve got to remember four or five of those players were signed with injuries.

A we quick over look without going into details.
Train as hard as you want lads food is the key.
When training hard I don't mean when its just about to get sore you stop. Not that type of training.

Blood carries food to the muscles that's how it get there

If food is just garbage going in it will hinder you won't get strong quality strengthening nice shaped muscles. Will never happen.
There is a huge huge difference between calorie burning fat burning or even body building v powerlifting.
The one who can push and have that extra edge will do all of the above including powerlifting.

The amount of clients I see and train with bad lower backs and they always say I can't do dead lifts sore back then I show them how to do them then no more back problems.
Many lower back problems are caused by
Posture
Footwear
weak leg muscles
Sitting about doing nothing
Poor abdominal muscles
Poor ass muscles
Poor core.
Flexibility even more important .

The good news is it all can be sorted rather than meds.
Plus being lazy is the worse.

Simple beginners programme stay the course don't ever quit invest in your healthy it should be your priority.
If your health is bad and you are popping pills just to get out your bed that's not gd.

Sorry I went off topic there.
Strong quad muscles and weak ass and hamstring muscles causes many injuries.

If you want to know more just ask.
