I don't think Rangers would need to splash out on some some big name manager if they get shot of Michael Beale. They just need someone who can blend the players together into a winning formation. I think the players are there but look lost with the so called systems? None of us fans seem to know what those systems/ tactics are? Does the manager?

An experienced manager that plays attractive football would be a start, not a training ground coach. Had some reservation about Beale and his penchant for talking but was prepared to look beyond and focus on the football, I have and now know he’s an imposter.

I know what the system is. It’s a high pressing 4-3-3 with attacking full-backs. Celtic use the exact same system.

Interestingly, Rangers lost to Kilmarnock using a 4-3-3 with two box-to-box midfielders and one holding. When Celtic played them in the cup they setup in the exact same way. Despite Rangers already trying that system, Rodgers decided to try again, and it didn’t work for him either.

What can we learn from this? Rodgers thinks his team are so much better that he they don't need to learn lessons from our results. That might’ve been the case first time when Rangers were finishing with points totals in the 60s and 70s but we finished with 92 points last year. 92 points is enough to win you the title most seasons. The two teams are actually difficult to separate and we seen that at the weekend.

It might take several weeks to get a real handle on these players we have.

Verdant, you really think there is nothing between the teams? Answer me this question, how many and who from our best starting 11 would get in to their best starting 11? Then answer the same question for their best starting 11 getting in to ours. I would say Butland is the only one of ours who would make their best 11 and we lucked out with him it seems as we took a chance on a a keeper that hasn't played a competitive game for 2 seasons.
