So now the dust has settled, how is everyone feeling about the new players / team as a whole. I definitely seen enough last night to suggest we will come good just need a couple more games to completely gel. My only concern as I said on last post is Tav looks shot of confidence and even as captain we can't carry him much longer. Anyway what position are we hoping gets strengthened before end of window? Personally I would like a left sided winger/ attacker. I know Beale doesn't play wingers but if we had an option to play with wingers when the situation is needed then I feel we are missing that raw speed trickery that a decent winger provides. Cheers guys.

You watched the game last night and your takeway is you`re worried about Tav? You`re not worried about two paceless forwards who cost us £8 million and could only score when the ball hit off one of them. You`re not worried about the dearth of talent on the bench that we had to bring on Wright, give Sima more game time and put Dowell on, a guy who looks as if he`s terrified of playing for Rangers. Not worried about Tav at all but we do need a winger or two for the full backs to play off . We won`t get it though because Baele doesn`t want to play that way.

To be totally honest, it is still too early to tell.
Cantwell and Raskin are ballers. that's obvious.
I like Jack, he plays for the badge.
Souttar has played well for us, looks to push forward. (im blaming the pitch for Killies goal as the ball got stuck under his foot which seems common on those terrible fake pitches) .

Tav, got to love him but i feel his time has come.
Borna, played well last night but still defensively he is a bombscare.

Danillo didn't really impress much. Considering the hype/ fees
Dessers looks ok, needs more time.
Lammers could come good and seems good on the ball.
Sima seems to be another Sakala/ Matundo, lots of pace but no end product.
I genuinely feel like Wright needs more time, never seems to get a decent run in the team.
Cifuentes looks to be a player!
Feel comfortable with Bucky in goals too.

wslgers, obviously I am not only taking Tav into consideration, my point is these new players need time to understand the way Beale plays, they are in door for a few weeks so we can't judge them fairly already. But Tav is not playing with confidence just now so as I said, it would be good to see what sterling has to offer and it also gives Tav time to sort himself out. He doesn't have the excuse of being new or not knowing how Beale wants him to play. He is just having a bad patch at minute so what is point in bringing sterling in if not to play in these situations.

I'm not convinced there is as big an improvement in the squad from last year that a lot on here say there is. Cifuentes and Dowell are by far the best signings we made this summer, I'm personally not impressed by any of the others. My major issue is we haven't actually addressed our biggest issue from last year, the defence. We scored a good amount of goals last year but we leaked tonnes so what does Beale do, overhaul our forwards. Go figure. And from what I've seen I'm undecided if Beale is the right man to lead us to great things either.
