Just rewinding back to our great run in the Europa league last season . seems that old habits certainly do come back to haunt us with the same problem back then as now . NO STRIKERS! . yes we were unlucky with kemar and colak with Injury. but when are the management or DOF going to actually wake up and smell the bacon . GOALS WIN GAMES! . we so badly need a poacher as is the same problem when Aribo was our makeshift striker . Pay the money for Nesbit or whoever is available . get it done please RW. Its the one position we, for some reason seem to Ignore. Give a young lad a chance in the B team . do something as its getting rather tedious. seem to remember a certain 16 year old Derek Johnston getting his chance and scoring the winner in the final againt celtic back in the day.

"pay the money for whoever is available" - not exactly long term thinking is it. Needs to be here right player and getting them in January is always harder. It's not just a transfer fee. Adding hefty wages to the wage bill, when players will be fit soon is irresponsible.

Also. the DOF listened and we went out and bought Colak haha. Can't buy a new player every time someone gets injured. I do agree re. youth though. we need to start blooding them to find out if they are good enough.

There's problems all over the pitch, goalkeeper is to old and back up is average at best. Defence is all over the place at times, midfield has zero creativity and we have a striker up front whose not fit and doesn't want to play for the club upfront. Shopping in the bargain basement is not going sort this problem out.

But it is a huge problem facing us with no 100% strikers available and don't say Morelos as he is misfiring in that role at this time.

Its the old saying “ you get what u pay for” shop in Primark and it may look good on the shelves but after a couple of spins it falls to pieces and no longer looks fit for purpose ? if i was Rangers manager I would be shopping in Markies, pay a tad more and get something that lasts and has a resale value on ebay further down the line haha.? Okay i'm going to get pelters for that comparison ?.

Is it too much to expect that we have a list of targets which is continually updated, we never started looking at players on January the 1st.
Targets should have been spoken to immediately and deals wrapped up quickly.
