if we sack gio the next manager we get must have a contract that does not put rangers in this position of having to pay out millions if it goes wrong.

You need to have a manager that is willing to accept that and to get a manager that is ok with a rolling contract I would expect them to want to bring in their own players. I know that if it was me then I wouldn't want Wilson to be choosing the players for me.
The System across the City appears to work a lot better than our system!

We benefitted from such a contract with Gerrard. Most managers will know we’re desperate and demand success and hammer hounded by fans after a year if they don’t get it, so will insist on a 3yr rather than a 1yr rolling. If they’ve any brains anyway.

I wonder if Gio is confident in thinking he can turn it around or if his thinking is about staying on until sacked, that way getting compensation rather than getting nothing if he walks?
