Usually when a new manager comes in a couple of players may drop in form or not be in the managers plans but since gio came in Kent morelos lundstrum tav barasic kamara arfield Jack and prob a few Ave missed have all drop in form considering these players got us to a European final they don't look fit and don't seem to be buying into gios ideas not a coincidence so many players have dropped in form.

I don’t necessarily agree with this. I want him gone as well have done for months and can’t believe he’s still here. However Lundstram was rotten under gerrard, Morelos was massively out of form until Gio came in Barasic has blown hot and cold since he came in, Tav was one of our best players last season and Arfield has played about the same level he always has for rangers I’d argue he’s been better under Gio than he was at the end of Gerrard. You’re comparing them to the end of last season when Gio was the manager as well. I’d actually argue when he was a new manager we got a bounce and everyone played really well at the start think we won 10 games on the spin or something. Since the start of the season we’ve been woeful and we have without a shadow of a doubt gone backwards but it wasn’t all rosey under gerrard at the start of last season either we were playing pretty rubbish if people think back.

Davie get your point mate but when Gerrard left he left gio a fit hungry squad and rode that wave but now he's had a pre season our squad don't look fit how come we have so many muscular injuries this season compared to the Gerrard era when you compare the squad Gerrard inherited to what gio did he's definetly taking us back the way.

Sm I don’t disagree with that about fitness levels the post was about performance levels. Hunger I’d maybe argue against I think there’s been a lot of players came here to stop 10 and win 55 then when it was completed almost gave a bit of a ‘now what’ situation for them and that’s where we had to refresh the squad and bring in some hungry players for the next challenge.

There's something in the fitness talk I think, airfield was recently quoted that pre season was more about ball work than fitness, and he'd never had that before. Apart from the boring slow build up, that's frustrating to watch, mcoist saying our players are not physical enough to impose on the opposition. I know we have all these injuries, but can't gio and his coaching team, who sit in silence see this?

Tav has 5 goals and 5 assists in 13 league games he’s no we’re near as of it as everyone is making out. Only player in our team with more goal involvements is colak.
