we got very fortunate in some games, still a fantastic achievement, these players threw everything into europa as it was making them look like superstars, gio inherited the team and they were able to lift they're game on big european nights, against it must be said a very definite lower quality of team than they played this season
however they also threw away a league title very poorly . and his constant team changes and tactics are awful

how do you expect a 37yr old to handle the pace of young dutch talent, absolutely no chance.

A see the problem still with the manager. , apart from Europe the league results were shocking, uo 2-9 etc. v mother well. 2-2 and same against others, the final we took hearts to extra time. , again struggling. a think the players took themselves to the final regardless who was in charge

This season the team has been a joke, players no even a clue where or what formation they are playing, example, Scott weight playing right wing, then matondo then Sakala . there’s no consistency.

Setting up Ajax Celtic away with. Back 4 plus 3 defensive midfielders but loose the game furst half

Laundstrum, tav, and many others look so unfit it’s unreal, but I think it’s just down to no fight that makes them look that unfit,

Last season's Europa heroes were Gerrard's team and the momentum carried the team in Europe. It was Gio who lost us the league. This season, poor tactics, poor signings, bad luck with injuries and one or two prima donna players who don't give a toss have all contributed.

Yeah Gerrards team… we had 4 points in the group before gio came in, that run had he haw to do with Gerrard! Don’t know why people think that! Yes his team but by the time gio came in we had played 4 lost 2, drew 1 and won one. Gio got us through the group and the knockouts and at the time we were all calling him a tactical genius, now he’s tactically clueless in some peoples minds! This board stopped backing Gerrard and they ain’t backing gio! I couldn’t care less we spent 12.5m we gained that alone for qualifying for champs league never mind 3 big sales and europa run. I blame the board not gio! Not saying he’s perfect he’s made mistakes, such as commenting on finances. Regardless what he thinks he still had to install a belief and a desire to win in to those players but I don’t think certain comments have helped. Team looked beat before the games started. Gerrard said same after Malmö and team also started playing poorly. He gets till the end of the season for me.
