Why was Beale invited to watch the game yesterday?
He's not that long since he left the club?
He knows most players he knows Ibrox
And he manages QPR
Is this just a run of the mill invitation? Just weird to invite him back so soon especially given the pressure Gio has been under lately to invite ex coach back that was number 2 not so long ago

By the way Sir Walter just out of curiosity we have all heard that Beale was the brains behind our ex manager gerrard
Why wasn't he offered the job when Gerrard left even interim?

And if he definitely wasn't offered why would we potentially offer him it anytime in near future if Anything happens with our current manager Gio?
We had the chance to offer him it last year
While he was still employed with us?

if Gio can keep the team playing like yesterday for the remainder of season he will be fine.

Hi Stig, I doubt it had anything to do with Beale possibly becoming our next manager. I hope to God it wasn't!? If it was an invite from the board (can't see it was), then this would be, indeed, very disrespectful to Gio. And not on!
Regardless of what we think of Gio, and whether anyone wants him replaced, the guy should still be shown the upmost respect. That's why I can't see anything in this, apart from Beale coming up to have look at a player, or two.

Stig he wasn't offered the job there and then when gerrard was leaving because ross wilson and our board wanted time to assess their options ?Then obviously gerrard within a day or two told his backroom team that he had cleared with villa that he wanted them with him?If wilson had offered the rangers manager's job to beale there and then beale would have been our new manager because he wouldn't have turned it down, his words mate ?I can't understand why some on here just won't accept that beale has never been offered the rangers manager's job, his words mate ?.

as I don’t know the reasoning behind it and it sound like you knew which you have replied

I’m just trying to understand why we took Gio on and why Beale at the time wasn’t considered or asked to stay on that’s all

It’s not that I don't believe what your saying bud

like I say just a genuine question for my own curiosity as to why Beale wasn’t considered to just stay on even as interim especially if as it looks he would have taken it and provided consistency
And to me it would then be strange to offer him it any time soon if indeed anything happens to Gio

but like I say if the team can play to the standard yesterday for remainder of season Gio will be absolutely fine
Just need the players to keep up that work rate and tempo we looked so much like our old selves yesterday it was good to finally see especially after recent performances and the Goodwin comments through the week
