Does anyone know why Charlie McCann hasn't had a sniff since the Dundee utd game and why Salaka was dropped before kent on Sunday? Can't get my head around either decision.

I could be wrong, but McCann's natural position is the deep lying midfielder - which is currently the only role in midfield we have for players.

I would give McCann minutes before Davis.
And I'd play Matondo and Sakala on the wings before Kent as:-
1/ he's been rank rotten
2/ doesn't want to be here.

If you were to give Kent, Sakala and Matondo a run if 10 games on either wing, where would you put them in terms of goals scored and created?

For me I think Sakala would come out top, followed by Kent and Matondo.

I agree with John that Sakala isn’t a great football player but he is direct and he has heart and desire. Matondo I’m just not sure about yet. Kent has had plenty of time and games and his numbers are terrible and I just don’t see them improving.

I agree Sakala’s touch is poor at times.
But I’d still much rather have a trier ( as Sweep says ) like him in the team currently than a talented player in Kent who is going through the motions and is in a poor vein of form and very inconsistent.

Folks, is Kent a talented player, I think he is too inconsistent to fall into that category.
