I'll probably be shot down for this post but as much as I hate to admit we have a real battle on our hands to regain the title. Celtic have built a strong squad with big game players in Jota Kyogo and others who play a good style of football and its going to take our players to maintain a standard all season or we'll be left behind.

I 100% agree with you mate they won’t drop many points this year the way they play and hopefully neither will we and it will be down to the old firm games, it would be ludicrous to think otherwise credit where credit is due for ange as we all laughed when he came in. I still think they will get pumped in Europe if they play the same way they do in spfl as they are just better teams in Europe.

Killing have made individual errors but cdltic have been relentless and have better quality in every position so unfair to say killing have folded.

As an Ayrshire man, Killie is my second team behind my beloved Rangers.

Thinking about it tho, it's really expected for them to struggle against us and the tims.

Totally agree. But one weakness they really do have is the physical side of the game jack and lundstram will boss the midfield if we play to our strengths. This league will be decided with the old firms both teams won't drop many points outwith them.

Big difference is they to will have to fight on two fronts with being in Europe! Tiredness and injuries will play there part.

Must say they do look lightweight in midfield. It was 3-0 when I left the pub. But the way it was going, I thought there'd be more goals. On the upside, I don't see anything to fear there if we boss the midfield.

Fair assesment.
We keep running at teams.
As the season goes on we should get stronger.
From our midfield going forward we always look like scoring.
We need to ready for the counter attack our defence has improved yes, tested properly no not yet.
But big lafferty was having a go all day. But we coped.
And that the type of player we want to play against as it makes you better defrnder as bring honest that is what lafferty is good at.
But not today.

We do have an iffy defence at present; The Belgians in the away are the only team to even attack us so far. Livingston, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone have all missed sitters even though they hardly attacked us.

Sweep, you are correct although some may not want to hear that. There is definitely room for improvement regarding our defence. Solid is not a word I'd use at the moment, maybe shakey would be better.

It's a matter of finding out where we are as a team. At the moment, I'm happy. Yes the defence is a bit shaky but the rest is looking OK. Bedding in we'll be fine.
