They were fortunate that they brought in a number of new players and they all hit the ground running. That doesn't seem to happen with us.

i didn’t think it was woeful, it’s new players getting used to each other, totally dominated the game, killie have a very good manager now no matter what some may think, he’ll take points off plenty, job done for us.

Celtic knocked out of Europe three times in a season
Rangers finalists

They get away with their gung-ho attitude when playing rubbish (large parts of SPL) but can't adjust when they come up against more technically competent teams in Europe.

We are sometimes more laboured against SPL teams but have done better in Europe due to more measured set-up.

As this team gets up to speed I believe they will produce the goods, in Europe and Scotland again this year.

I know the result last week was poor but if we had scraped a 1-0 away defeat (which was more than possible if the ref had known the rules (no penalty) the result would have been fine. Last year our run to the final rolled the early hiccups of Malmo and the first two games in the Europe league stage.

The worst we have is Europa league group stage, and hopefully we can turn around the USG game and get into the UCL knock-out stage.

Either way I think Gio and his team set the team up better and make better changes at better times than SG ever did.
