Liverpool in peace. Just wanted to know what your thoughts are on Steve G leaving and your new manager. Always had a soft spot for rangers and even got friendly with a few fans when you sent an army down to Manchester for the finally. Hope you win the league this season guys and confirm yourselves as the top team In Scotland and start being a force again in Europe.

Good luck to Gerrard he done what was asked to stop 10 in a row but you will find out he is a hit and a miss sometimes the team looks fired up but then they look like they cannot score if the game went on for 5 hours.

Thanks for post. IAH, most gers loved you til SG scarpered. And that's definitive word for us. We feel he upped and left us in lurch damn quick. But looking forward most gers feel we've replaced him sharpish with better. more well rounded. experienced, Internationally recognised manager. That's just my view and maybe I'll get slated. Still keep wearing Pool away tops tho.

Done a good job clinching 55# maybe should have got a cup! Disappointed he left but wish him well, he definitely raised standards throughout our club. I think Gerrard still learning and relies heavily on mick Beale. Hopefully he does well down south.

He was great for us Liverpool. Forever indebted to him for last season. A bit disappointed at the timing but fully understand the reasons. Family always comes first, and Steven is no different to anybody else. I wish him all the best for the future.

I agree with bgate. Beale is fantastic. SG ticks all the boxes for the public image. Talks well etc and I wish him well. GVB is imo a step up in class and will take us where SG couldn't.

Thanks for the kind words Liverpool. Gerrard was great for us and we were great for him. He only won one trophy but it was the one we all wanted and we won it with style undefeated all season. He inherited a squad that was not good and was given time and money to build his own team. he's left us in a far better place with a squad worth millions and raising standards all over our club. Nobody is happy with the way he left us but that's football. Our new manager is an upgrade on Gerrard and everyones buzzing at the appointment of Gio. Cheers and good luck to Liverpool this season.

Boo the problem is with your point is rangers only big opportunity to us rangers fans not a well known Liverpool fan so have to disagree with you there.


I honestly believe he will struggle at Villa and it wouldn’t surprise me if they get relegated.

He served his apprenticeship with us then walked away. Won us 55 which was his brief, practically rebuilt the whole playing side from the first team to the kiddies, was a fine ambassador, then left a bad smell behind him with the manner of his departure. Close to being a hero, ended up in some eyes as close to being a zero. Thanks SG, now Rangers move forward.

Welcome mate. I loved the guy and the way he conducted himself was impeccable. Always knew he would leave at some point but his timing and the way he went about it was horrendous and has left a real bitter taste in my mouth. Michael Beale will be our biggest loss IMO.
