Fortunately / unfortunately depending on their view none who voted are the Rangers manager.
And if Gio doesn't drop either Tav, Barisic or both does he get it tight?
I'm sure Gerrard got a bit of verbal diarrhoea on here for failing to drop Tav.

Can't see him dropping Tav for one reason he needs to keep his captain onside just now get the team going, don't think he can come straight in and change the captain either and tbh who's taking it that can't play week in week out. a couple weeks into job could be a diffrent story if tavs form doesn't improve.

I agree would be surprised if he dropped Tav, he didn’t use his captain at press conference though. so maybe he will. He’s only had 2 days with the lads so I’d expect tried and tested for tonite with a tweek to the shape.

Can we have a poll on if we want Tavernier dropped for Patterson and Barisic dropped for Bassey cheers. That's what I want but I'd be interesting what other folk think thanks.

This is not a rant at Gerrard but I never liked him much anyway I was saying he should of been fired back just before Corona started when the team fell apart on the title run in for me he was a one trick pony once opposition figured him out he had no plan B in my opinion mr beale was the mastermind I am grateful he got Rangers 55 he will always be remembered for that he should be applauded for the league title win but there was something I did not like from the beginning I guess it was becouse he was inexperienced in management as the games when on with him in charge Rangers were firing then totally missing sometimes he certainly had gray patches i'm not sure Aston villa will give him the time he wants to build his team they have fired 6 managers in 6 years so he could end pulling himself further away from the liverpool job I have no bitterness towards him I just was not keen from the start hopefully we go on to win another league title this season and get that important champions league money as for the next manager hopefully it is Lampard or Gio no derick or Neil that would be going backwards like celtic did with Lennon.

i definitely think there are better managers being linked, i'm still upset at the way he sneaked away, but i don't care now, i'm even excited at a new rangers chapter. imho. stevie, lennon, and rodgers won titles with scaresly any real opposition, stevie did a good job in europe in a unique season, but lost many goals. and this season in europe has been awful. rodgers is obviously quality, but it remains to be seen if gerard is. only a football viewpoint.

I wonder how many on here were saying he wasn’t a great manager when we cliched the league last year going through the season unbeaten? I can’t remember reading too many posts criticising him then. It’s like being at school and a girl dumps you and you say aye she was ugly anyway.

Good luck to Gerrard he done what was asked to stop 10 in a row but you will find out he is a hit and a miss sometimes the team looks fired up but then they look like they cannot score if the game went on for 5 hours.
