Lets see what we all think on this subject which like most hope never happens for a long while yet! I read an article regarding who rangers supporters out there would see as an eventful replacement for steven gerrard 🤔The names mentioned were gio van bronckhorst, rino gattuso, michael beale,
kevin thomson, robbie nielsen, callum davidson 🤔 Remember when thinking and making your choice bare in mind wilson will want a manager who will continue the style and philosophy of gerrard and won't employ our next manager/ head coach who will want to rip everything up and implement a completely new style. So ED could you run a poll mate with the poll reading who do we think should eventually replace gerrard as the new rangers manager/ head coach ie.

Can't see Gattuso or GVB taking it due to limited financial budget.
Not sure Neilson or Davidson would have big enough reputations to entice players.
Beale would leave along with Gerrard or I think he has hinted about returning to South America.
Thomson gets his teams playing football the correct way and was highly rated at Rangers as a coach. But is he a big enough name?

Thinking about it John, that's a good call. We've been talking about bringing youngsters through the system, same could apply to managers. Adopt a certain philosophy and pass that through all levels.

Personally i think myself kevin thomson is a very good shout for me and ticks most boxes for me 👍 He knows the system all the way through at rangers, he's highly rated at rangers with ross wilson and the majority within the corridors at ibrox and gerrard said as much when thommo asked gerrard for advice, before he went to kelty hearts as their new manager 🤔He's regarded as a very good coach and has his own youth academy into the bargain. Of course he still has to prove himself as a manager/ head coach over the next few years and is highly tipped to do so 👌.
