Why did we buy Simpson?

Pretty much everyone on the forum was skeptics and he minute we saw him play

Why did we sign Morelos, Kent, Goldson, McCoist, McGregor or Stein?

No guarantee that any player will perform at a new club or in a new league no matter their pedigree.

If our scouts had 100% success they would not be our scouts for long.

Good point DK19 no manager or director of football will have 100% transfer success rate I remember hearing Neil warnock talking and saying anyone who gets 7 out of 10 success rate is doing well. I think gerrard be well within that. They won't all work out.

Wouldn’t you agree there has been a fair few under Stevie though

gets a bit boring after a while getting so many players in paying a wage then there seemed not good enough after a start or two
Surely under current scouting team we should expect a bit better doesn’t have to be 100% but definitely better?

Guys, we pay big money to Wilson and Gerrard to get the players in that we need, why can't we all just support any player whom our gaffer picks, none of us on this forum know as much about football than he does. I also can't understand the pessimism about this game with Celtic, they've played no one of any note so far, I know we'll be up for this on Sunday, they won't have been put under pressure like they will be on Sunday, so let's wait and see how it all pans out, if we lose, we just pick ourselves up and go again, Thursday is the first hurdle, LET'S GO.

Stig many reckon 70% success very good, I no you understand but we were a basket case when fgerrard joined and we definitely needed numbers.
We quickly had to move a number on. But year on year we have improved quality, as was alleged to in MrPH excellent
